QUOTE (drucurl @ Jun 12 2012, 03:16 AM) *
Again aftermath of Silva sale. Do you think that if I had the choice I'd opt for the best defender in the world to leave us?

I know man, understood it the first time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I was just pointing out that there won't be much of an "aftermath" if we sell him now, seeing how crucial he has been for us these past two years. We'll be suspect and vulnerable at the back, unless we can really land up an apple-to-apple replacement.

QUOTE (drucurl @ Jun 12 2012, 03:16 AM) *
I'd sell iBra for a nice crate of bananas/air if I could

Oh come on, he's bad but not that bad. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Sneaky character, but still our best player at the moment.

I say if TS goes, which will make me truly sad we try to hijack the Verthongen deal. From what I have seen and heard we pick up him and Ogbonna for 25 total, and we try to get Criscito for another 10-15. Another 5 for one of Astori/ Acerbi and we have a new look backline for 40 to 45 million. If we are gonna rebuild we should do it right, send Ibra away for 40 million use his money to bring in a prima punta and a playmaker, go for the Robinho Ganso swap and promote internally.

With these changes I think that slling these players can be barely justified, but as we all know the money will go to level the bank out.

We'd probably end up with Paolo Cannavaro. G will sell it as Milan will like to communicate that we have secured the services of the brother of a proven champion and Golden Ball winner. With this replacement of thiago silva Milan is secured to compete on three fronts next year

Silva's signing was one in ten or twenty in his position, a relatively cheap player that turned out world class. and we signed him without much competition from other powerhouses like Real Money who seem to want everybody young prospect in the world. I don't know who the **** Dedè of Vasco de Gama is but the management should know better they just can't find another Silva that easily. it's not worth it on cash in on him, sell Ibra FFS! it's much easier to replace him.

PS1: **** PSG still. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/puke.gif)
PS2: I'm sick of these unambitious old farts that run the club.
PS3: I still don't think we're selling Silva. it's only a farce and I'm waiting for Silvio to take the stage and play the hero again... this is eerily similar to what happened with Pato in January and look how that ended [for now].

And you guys told me I was being pessimistic! HA!!!

What a load of cr@p!! Galliani and Berlu should be ashamed of themselves, they're basically running us into the ground. If Silva and Ibra leave than we'll be mid-table quality at best. It looks like losing out on that Scudetto this season has become an even bigger factor since I can't see us winning it again any time soon with the way things are going.

Juve and Inter are being linked with great players while our great players are being linked with other clubs!

If Galliani sells the best defender in the world for 50m I want the fans to boycott games next season. Something drastic needs to happen or we'll be worse off than the likes of Arsenal

Well I think most of these bogus rumours are coming out of the desperate French press.

Big money or not, I would think Thiago would have more ambitions then to settle for the French league at his age. At least if he were to leave City or Barca are far more attractive options who could also offer him astronomical wages.

Whether he stays or goes, Galliani and Co need to start planning out some transfers. We've lost half the team and so far all we've done is bring in freebies. While also barely holding on to our best players
