Silva has been the most consistent player for us this season but Ibrahimovic has won us more points. So I went for the latter because I don't think this award is for the most consistent player but for the most valuable one.

Well, defenders can't score much, but they prevent many goals. I think Thiago did exactly this; even more the Ibra. That's why I picked him!

Defenders often got lack of appreciation compared to attackers. I believe Thiago Silva's importance to Milan is massively underrated (not by everyone). All things considered, he had a hand in saving us more points than Ibra earned (single-handily or via assists). IMO, of course. Now obviously, we can't possibly imagine to measure the performances in numbers. But I like to think that Ibra had a big hand in getting us to first place - Silva even a bigger in keeping us there! |
