5 matches till season end, but it shouldn't affect the outcome. I think we can all vote now, it's "player of the season".

To be honest, it can only be Thiago Silva.

BTW. Robinho deserves to be listed, instead of Pirlo (out a lot), Seedorf (inconsistent) or Van Bommel (sure, been good, but is new). The others are (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

Yup, the monster. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Second place Ibra, and then Nesta. If it were not because of the these three we could very well have lost our marbles up till now. Certainly guys like KPB, MVB and Abate played their parts, and surely Pato too, but for the sake of this poll, there can only be one.

Well said, buddy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) I am not sure he will get many votes, but the guy did play enough to earn a call.

I'm expecting Fillippo to explain us why Pirlo's on that list and Robinho is not.

Anyway, my vote goes to Thiago Silva.

Silva has been the most consistent player for us this season but Ibrahimovic has won us more points. So I went for the latter because I don't think this award is for the most consistent player but for the most valuable one.

Well, defenders can't score much, but they prevent many goals. I think Thiago did exactly this; even more the Ibra. That's why I picked him!

Thiago Silva is fast becoming one of my favourite defenders of all time.

Thiago Silva is our most valuable player in my honest opinion. Defenders often got lack of appreciation compared to attackers. I believe Thiago Silva's importance to Milan is massively underrated (not by everyone).

+2. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) Well put. I voted for the guy too. Silva did his job with a quite head and luckily did not get too many injuries. All things considered, he had a hand in saving us more points than Ibra earned (single-handily or via assists). IMO, of course. Now obviously, we can't possibly imagine to measure the performances in numbers.

But I like to think that Ibra had a big hand in getting us to first place - Silva even a bigger in keeping us there!
