i could understand if it was two late challenges then you could maybe blame allegri. But he punched a man!!

First of all, it wasn't a punch. It was a slap. Secondly, I blame Allegri because he played him like an animal. It came to the point where Ibra was exhausted, and couldn't produce his usual game and score. That frustrated him and the slap was a result of such frustration. Knowing the kind of guy Ibra is, Allegri should have given him a chance to catch his breath and gain some energies.

What do you mean "Allegri played him like an animal"? Silva has been playing like an animal. half of our team have been playing like animals! Abate runs the length of the pitch like an animal (Ibra isn't THAT mobile after all). it in no way justifies his red cards.

Oh dear, it looks like no-one gets it. I'm not saying the fact he's tired justifies his red cards. Put it simply: Ibra tired => Ibra underperforming => Ibra frustrated => Ibra acting like an @ss. That's the logic.

And he's not been played like an animal? Until Bari, he had played every single game in the league, Champions League and one of the two games of Coppa Italia. That's 40 games! And why do you compare him to other players? Not everyone is structured the same. Ibra is someone who gets tired when overplayed, unlike Thiago Silva or Abate who are younger and have the stamina to play many games without dropping in quality.

I think everyone is just over reacting, the same way everyone over reacted after the Rino thing. X-off, no matter how you justify it, the punch/slap whatever you wish to call it, was a lot worse then this, he cursed at the ref, we've seen him, and other players do it millions of times. That was soft and I'd forgive him that, the one against Bari is the true offense.

He was frustrated and tired against Bari, yes, he was frustrated against Fiorentina as well because he missed 2 sitters, and I know for a fact that would have eaten Ibra alive considering how long it has been since he scored from open play now, that frustration is still there, no matter how long he's had to rest.

As for the we're only here because of Ibra debate, I cannot agree with that. Ibra has contributed immensely to our Scudetto run, no one can dispute that, but the entire teamworked for this title. As someone mentioned before, the reason why Ibra gets more credit is because he gave his team mates the confidence and the belief that they could win this thing, something we haven't seen in years. And for that I'm very grateful that we have Ibra on the team, and personally I wouldn't trade him for Dzeko or anyone else, unless they're in the elite group that we cannot realistically bring in to the club

Seems to me like our heads have grown, now that we are hopefully going to win the title, "oh we don't need Ibra, he's a ****, get rid of that piece of sh!t" I think that is just BS talk. We're not going to be attracting anyone better then Ibra anytime soon, and in terms of strikers atm, you only have a handful who are better then him, and all of them would be out of the question. You want to bring back Boriello, Gila? Just because they're humble, don't talk sh!t to the press and are always noble on the field? Want to go back to fighting for 4th spot and the UEFA Cup?

Of course it's his fault. But who was the one that overplayed him? Massimiliano Allegri. Thus he shares a part of the blame.

Actually no. I can't agree on that one. He should have made the change, and that's his mistake. But it's a separate thing. No one other then Ibra shares the blame for getting a 3-match ban during the season finale.
