QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jun 28 2013, 01:10 AM) Brazil Spain final is stupendous for the neautrals. Brazil better live up to expectations!! Spain is very well versed side. Think Spain will have an much easier job then Italy. They'll eat Dani Alves and Luiz for breakfast.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jun 28 2013, 01:21 AM) I'm still wondering why Spain played like they should only in ET? is it because Italy got tired and couldn't keep up, or was it Spain's gameplan not to waste too much energy before the HT? they created twice as many chances in ET as they did in normal time. Because Italy had no strength to maintain their intelligent gameplan - hence it became easier to get involved in attacks. It was a great tactical setup by Prandelli. Man, he's really a maverick. Sometimes he's making unexplainable choices, but sometimes knows to hit the exact needed combination. Like a super-Allegri.

Obviously not everybody, but I think the majority does not enjoy watching them right now.

Yeah. You could feel it in Fortalenza when the neutrals cheered for Italy.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jun 29 2013, 12:31 PM) Obviously, they didn't want Spain in the final because they knew Spain were stronger than their Brazil, so they cheered for Italy. I don't think so. Italy actually played better. But you could also hear the crowd cheering for Nigeria for example against Spain.

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jun 30 2013, 12:06 AM) I don't think so. Italy actually played better. But you could also hear the crowd cheering for Nigeria for example against Spain. That is because Brazil and their fans dislike the Spanish game in general. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Or should I say, this Spanish team with its tiku takay pinga ponga. It's straining to the eyes. Being a fan of the Seleção (barely these days), I know this for a fact. In fact, ask Brazil NT fans and most would want to give Spain a good beating to show them who is boss. This tournament is entirely different however. Brazil wanted Spain in the final to at least make a competitive match between both teams, which let's face it rarely happens. They got their wish, even though in all Spain fixtures in this tournament, Brazil fans in the stadium (and across the country) were booing Spain and their style of play.
