Funny that, a Rangers fan doesn't think he's all that great. Blackpool fans don't seem to either given their PotY voting and they'd know better than most. Yet the 'experts' think he's worth £10m or whatever.
Not big news, but Gavin McCann has announced his retirement after failing to recover from an anlke injury. Not a great player, by any means, but always gave his all and did hs job. Will fondly remember his superb 03/04 campaign at Villa Park. He will also go down as the first man to eliminate Roman Abramovich's Chelsea from a competition with his league Cup QF goal against them. All the best Gav! Alexsandr Hleb, Matt Derbyshire, Obafemi Martins, David Bentley Seb Larsson, Kevin Phillips, Lee Bowyer, Maik Taylor, Martin Jiranek, Marcus & Stuart Parnaby have all left small heath.
At least they're keeping all the Villa rejects that sent them down. You can have Habib Beye next season! |

tbh I'd take quite a few of those players at Rangers. Larsson, Bowyer, Bentley, Martins...
