According to Calciomercato Nesta's and Allegri's relation with each other are not so good. The report is in Italian so, I couldn't understand it very well :

Il difensore rossonero e il tecnico toscano avrebbero avuto un diverbio abbastanza acceso proprio dopo la sconfitta di Roma contro i biancocelesti di Reja. Un litigio che ha dato molto fastidio ad Allegri che ha preferito puntare su Mexes. In teoria dunque Nesta sarebbe a disposizione del tecnico rossonero in vista della trasferta in terra siciliana ma l'allenatore toscano potrebbe anche proseguire con la guerra fredda nei confronti di Nesta. Certo, questo non gioverebbe certamente al Milan che senza un difensore di ruolo accanto a Thiago Silva potrebbe schierare in campo qualche giocatori fuori ruolo. La soluzione potrebbe essere l'arretramento di uno tra Van Bommel e Ambrosini al centro accanto a Thiago Silva. Probabile che sia l'italiano a scalare dietro e giocare centrale. A meno che la situazione tra Allegri e Nesta non migliori, sempre che la rivelazione del sito Qsvs.it sia davvero giusta. Nesta nella sua grande carriera tra Lazio e Milan non ha mai avuto problemi con gli allenatori anche perchè si è sempre comportato da professionista. Nel Milan è da circa 10 anni, ha praticamente vinto tutto e ha avuto molti allenatori. I compagni di squadra lo hanno sempre dipinto come un leader molto professionale in campo. Allegri non vuole perdere terreno in campionato, sa perfettamente che la Juventus corre e in più i bianconeri, sotto di un punto, hanno una partita da recuperare. Non sono ammessi passi falsi a Palermo. |

BS. I don't think Allegri is that thick not to play a fit Nesta against Palermo, despite what might have happened between them.

Yeah, but Nesta is the only senator we should hold onto and who's 100% necessary for next season. If this rift is real, than...well, I don't know what to say then go to hell Allegri.
