So. Nesta pulled up in training yesterday (Thursday) with pain in his lower back. There'll be exams and meetings tomorrow to plan the way forward.

Maybe we'll see him on the pitch again...sometime. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I'll be honest. I nearly laughed when I read that. It's so sad it's funny. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

We either have too many injury prone players, or Milan Lab really need looking at! Their recovery projections and such have been terrible of late.

And no one expected that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I think if surgery can fix this problem, he should do it. he's wasting his time with all the recovery ****. he's still young for a Milan defender, and even if surgery requires 1 year away from football, it's still worth it. he's been returning since August 2008 for ****'s sake!

Surgery at this age? Sadly, I think retirement is a better option.

Plus Sergio did that surgery on his back and had to hang up his boots. Sad that it had to come to this for Nesta too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I just don't know anymore. The surgery's been great for Paolo, but ruined Sergio. So... I just dunno. This sucks!

The surgery was great for Paolo because it was on his knee... the back is a whole different story.

You see, I get an allergy every time I see such posts. Same story as the retire-posts. And my response still is the same - it's easy to sit in a warm room and write down "don't waste time go to surgery". Try at least a little less ****'s and a bit more compassion.

It's your problem you have allergy to such posts not mine. I really like Nesta and I'm as angry and sad about this as everybody else. and I think he's wasting his time as he has been coming back since the start of the ******* season. open your eyes!!

I feel sorry for Sandro, it can't be easy to think that the injury is behind you and get another huge setback. We should have bought Agger so Sandro did not have feel the pressure of returning to fast.
