Danny pretty much said it all at the end of the OP. Our transfer negotationing doesn't make sense. QUOTE Refuse to pay anything more than about 8M?

Actually, no I don't. I took enough bloody nonsense from you guys when I started this thread so I think I am entitled to say I was right. Wish I hadn't been, wish it had worked out with Klaas - but Fabiano was gagging to come here and we wouldn't spend a few quid more to get a proven world class talent. In a sort of way, belatedly, it's worked out in that Borriello is in the form of his life, but it took 5 months for that to happen. |
