True..but i don't know if favalli would extend...we'll be having much youth, so at least that era of oldness would've been gone..U know 38, 39ish...But Galliani said today that Albertazzi would be inserted into first team and that he believes that he's matured enough to play now...Gourcuff is still part of our youth and should come back too....Albertazzi is 6'1, so that's a good height for a defender...He should be good beside, we don't know how good they are until we play them...Next year i don't want Ambro to be first team at all..He's a good sub..Flamini all day...Plus, Carlo really really really needs to rotate these players..It shouldn't be every game that Kaka or pato or pirlo would play...He uses Pirlo too dang much...Barcelona's coach rotate his players a lot whether young or old and leaves them to stay and play the whole game b/c he has trust and believe in them..Carlo should do this..I'm afraid that next season Carlo wouldn't have any excuse...Still waiting for next season

Kurt and I may be the only two who rate Ambro but, well, I don't want to see him permanently benched. Would at this point prefer him to start over Flamini, though Flamini has finally adjusted to Serie A and is doing rather well.

Regarding Albertazzi, I say why not. I mean let him play in some coppa games or friendlies that no one really cares about. Its much too soon though for Serie A.

Darmian on the other hand should be given his shot. If we are signing a defender as galliani said, we should go after Lucio and use darmian as a fourth. That would then give us the chance to release favalli.


Otherwise loan them out. Or they will rot like viudez/cardaccio.

Although Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has said repeatedly that he does not want to talk about the transfer market until the end of the season, today he spoke to Milan Channel about some of the club's plans for the future.

"This Milan squad doesn't need to be refounded," he said, "this season we have had an incredible series of injuries which influenced our run. Next year we will have some reinforcements and we will continue in this more than two decades long journey. Some other players will quit due to their age, and we will also have the injured players back."

On Milan's youth products, Galliani said: "[Luca] Antonini, [Alberto] Paloschi, [Davide] Di Gennaro, and [Ignazio] Abate are players I always follow. They have a good chance of coming back here next season. If a player is young and a champion like Kaká he will play immediately, otherwise he can find space in any mid-table team.

"These last years we have found many great young players, we hope to find some others who can make that extra step to be good enough for Milan. They all have to be players worthy of a Champions League final."

He also talked about the match earlier this season against Lecce, Milan's next opponents on Sunday at San Siro, which finished 1-1.

We dropped to second in a minute and the matches that followed didn't go well. That match against Lecce was decisive.

Guys i think i've made up my mind...It ain't like i'm to decide but I think we should go for Edin Dzeko rather than Keirrison or Neymar...Neymar is very very talented and skillful, and so is Keirrison..Neymar isn't a pure striker but more like a SS and we already have pato for that...But the thing is that, we don't need another pato for now...Pato is better than both of them but they're good and play alike...Dzeko is 23 years old and still has enough amount of years to come...We have attacking midfielders, kaka, ronnie, or even Viudez that can attack and give defenders problems but right now we need a target man...Borriello is one but isn't very much reliable cuz in Serie A people get injured very easily...plus Neymar doesn't have much physical body and that is needed right now...Keirrison is good but it seems that he doesn't want to move to Europe yet...so we'll have to wait on that...Dzeko is skillful too and would keep defenders on their toes...Plus he's been a milan fan since he was a kid, so that's a plus for us...I know we need to focus on defense but i just felt like saying this..

I hope we get him quickly!!!

That said, Grafite's second goal today v. Bayern was a thing of beauty. Haven't seen a goal that good in a while. He skipped around the entire defense including the keeper and then backheeled the ball into the net.
