Agger: "Contract? There's time"

"I have a lot of time ahead, because my contract does not expire at the end of season, therefore it would be stupid to run." The Liverpool defender Daniel Agger (24) prefers a renewal of contract with the Reds than move to another club. Marchetti rules out Milan move

Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti has been one of the standout performers in Italy this season, catching the eye of Milan scouts. However, the player himself has denied the possibility that he will join the Rossoneri.

"I'm going to Milan? No, I'm staying here. I have a four-year contract and I will continue to wear this kit," he stated at an event called 'Lo stadio dei bambini' at an elementary school in Sardinia, according to Datasport.

"I owe everything to Cagliari. Let's just finish this year in the best way possible. The newspapers write so many things, but I have not communicated anything."

Marchetti has been a major factor in the Sardinian's successful season so far as they currently sit in seventh position in the table.

"We expect to do well in the final nine matches. We will see what we can do. We respect everyone, but fear no one, because we have already shown that we can play as well as the big teams," he concluded.

The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Cagliari from Albinoleffe, but the island side will exercise their option to buy him outright for €1.25 million at the end of the campaign.

JeanLouis Triaud: "We want to retain Gourcuff, but he will choose"


High-flying Girondins de Bordeaux are already planning their summer transfer charge, despite still battling for the Ligue 1 title with Olympique Lyonnais and a host of other clubs.

Laurent Blanc’s men have made it their priority to keep Yoann Gourcuff, who is currently on loan at the club from Milan, but they have also been linked with moves for Portsmouth forward John Utaka as well as Le Mans goalkeeper Yohann Pele.

Bordeaux’s most pressing concern is over Yoann Gourcuff; the French international star currently on loan at the club from Milan. Last summer a deal was signed that means if the Aquitaine club pay Milan €13 million and the player agrees, the burgeoning midfielder will be theirs. “The coach wants to keep him, as do the leaders,” president Jean-Louis Triaud explained to Aujourd'hui Sport. “The majority shareholders of the club have said that they will help us achieve our goals.

Adding depth to the offensive sector is another priority for les Girondins, who are chasing out-of-favour Portsmouth man John Utaka. “It has been suggested,” the Bordeaux president conceded. “I am amazed that he is only 27. No decision has been taken but I know Utaka wants to return to France.”

Bordeaux’s final aim is to find a replacement for aging goalkeeper Ulrich Rame. Yohann Pele, Le Mans’ No. 1, has been linked with many top clubs, including Bordeaux. When quizzed about the rumours les Girondins’ president simply stated, “We have not made a proposal.”

In addition Laurent Blanc's side have also been linked with Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa by Football365.

Bordeaux are clearly aiming to work quickly when the season is over to assemble their squad for next term’s campaign, be it in the Champions League, Europa League or not in Europe at all.

Adriano To Milan Is Not A Possibility - Agent

Earlier on Thursday, Goal.com reported that Adriano had made statements regarding his future, suggesting he is uncertain whether he will renew his contract with Inter that expires in June 2010.

The Brazilian's agent, Gilmar Rinaldi, claims he does not know if Adriano will leave the club, but insists that it will not move to city-rivals AC Milan.

"In these past few days I have spoken to Adriano, but not about his future," he told Telelombardia.

"Fifteen days ago I spoke to Inter and now we are waiting. In Italy, the media say many things, but none of the are new. Something with Milan? It doesn't exist."

The 27-year-old has been in and out of the line-up this season, at times finding himself in coach Jose Mourinho's doghouse due to his tendency to party into the night and show up late for training. Overall, he has scored seven times in 22 appearances.

Tuttomercatoweb is running a speculative story (link) suggesting that Bosian striker Dzeko (who plays for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga) might be a good pick for the big striker Milan are supposedly after. He's done reasonably well for Wolfsburg this year so far as I know and on Wednesday, he scored twice for Bosnia.

Balkan guys and guys who follow the Bundesliga more closely than I do, what do you know about him?

I'm watching Bundesliga regulary so...Grafite is better then both, don't who's wanting him or not. Dzeko and Ba both are good and could do something, but they are B class.
