I think it's too risky for a club like Milan to gamble on a player who's acheived nothing in a major league. He was great in Russia, but has 4 goals in the EPL this season. Talk about lethal..

I'd much rather us go for an effective player who's a **** than a good guy who can barely score. Dorgba maybe? He seems to be getting sick of having to work for a new manager every week, or.. bring Gila back! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I can't say I'd be too thrilled about getting Cannavaro at this point either. He's easily the most anonymous of the Ballon d'Or winners this decade and has pretty much slipped back into obscurity since the end of 2006.

just another example why this team is so poorly management. ever herd of a plan b, because a team only needs 1 player for every position, thats why subs dont exist. IMO our gaping needs (and since we always seem to be 2 or 3 steps behind i highly doubt we'll deal with most of them)= a proper center back, a RB and a LB (zambro has been ok but he plays way too much,janku has been exposed way too many times),a creative mid to get seedorf the hell away from a starting spot, and a striker to pair up with pato and pippo and boriello rotating.

for the RB i tihnk that abate can do that (don't forget that we have bonera also that can play in this position), LB with clichy it would be great, in midfield definitely Yoan and for the attack i would like Adebayor over Drogba, he is younger and he is great... In CB i think Mexes will come for sure, we should activate Albetrazzi and Darmiani, they are great and they need to gate some minutes in some rotation to get some experience to become a world class defenders i think they can achieve that.... It is something about 60M and i think that we can spend that amount of money if we will play the CL.... And we can also sell some players and that comes under 45,40 M so a team that need a full restructure can spend that money to become world class again.... Let's hope and i can't wait summer to see what happens....

Abate is no RB...Yet

Throwing him in the defence would be like asking Pato to be a holding midfielder. It just isnt appropriate yet. In time maybe, but he would always be a Janku style FB with defensive deficiencies

Am I the only one who does not think Abate is good enough to return to Milan? I believe his game is too one-sided.

I havent seen too much of Abate in Torino (minus that great goal), but he is/was considered one of the Azzurrini's brightest lights and he has thoroughly impressed me when he wears blue. Abate is a winger and adds width, which lord knows we sorely lack at the moment. The only team to play a narrower formation than us are the Nerrazzuri

I don't think he's anything special + if we stick to the Ancelotti system little will be use of him since IMO he's a ture RM/W and has no RB quality.

I believe Abate is better than some of our midfielders...Guys we shouldn't be saying or criticizing our players that have actually done good..Abate did good and is still doing good for Torino.....How many times does emerson play for milan..I believe that Abate could really help milan...maybe he's one sided but he could do better with the players surrounded by him should he return...And the thing we really don't acknowledge is the fact that he's really really really fast...Fast in midfield...That will really help us

yes he isn't but i think he can become if he get the chance... maybe i am wrong... but he wouldn't be the first player which played as a RB even if he is a midfielder/winger. He is fast so i think he can do that and give more width to our squad...

no your not the only. I dont think hes anything special.

Personally I wouldn't care either way if he came or not because all he will be doing is sitting on the bench. What we need is gourcuff/ mexes/ and a WC striker.

Also it appears the links with kanoute were fantasy and have been denied. Sevilla's coach said this: "When you have the best players always run the risk of losing, but I want to reassure fans of Kanouté because he has no plans to leave this summer"


Finally were linked now with kuzmanovic (22) from fio and they are linked palombo from samp to replace him if he leaves.. Gourcuff is also linked with a return to us and then a possible transfer to chelsea/lyon/arsenal/bayern which are keen on purchasing him.

I wouldn't mind it too much if we got lost gourcuff and got kuzmano. Either way if we are selling gourcuff someone better come.

I would laugh if cannavaro was our big defender signing of the season. With galliani coming out and saying we are fine with nesta/kaladze/bonera/cannavaro/favalli and cannavaro was brought only to give time for nesta/kaladze to recover.

I hope we dont go for some unknown striker like we did with oli. We have to go for someone who can score. If we give gourcuff to bayern, we can negotiation for toni, which would be a great transfer imo.

According to AS, AC Milan could try to take advantage from the difficulties in the contract talks between Barcelona and goalkeeper Victor Valdes. The catalan player could be an alternative to Cagliari's Federico Marchetti.

AC Milan and Fiorentina are both tracking Italy international and Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo (27).

so another source has said we are fighting for palombo, which makes the kuzmano link make sense. But kuzmano's agent said he will renew in june so who knows (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
