QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Mar 26 2009, 11:20 AM) Well, God help me, but I can't see yours. Based on what?? On Chelsea wanting him? Are you sure they want him even? What's your logic? How many Abate matches did you see? How many Gourcuff matches? I mean, your statements look so defined, like your a Arsenal scout who needs a match or two and says: he's good, get him/he's crap, let Liverpool have him.
And - best Milan youth player...Pato, Pato, Pato, Pato,...
Racial issues are interesting, but not at this point. You can turn everything into a racial dispute, if you want.
I love the way Maldini suits into this trashbag you filled. Nice conclusion. I dont regard pato as a youth player anymore. He is indispensable for our club and a starter. I'm judging gourcuff on his value and his performances. Was abate/gennaro in the uefa cup? Where is bordeaux right now compared to torino/reggina. You can say all you like but many people share the view that gourcuff is much better than any of our loaned out players. I dont see abate/di gennaro linked with top teams? The maldini comment was in no way disrespectful to him. I was trying to imply he won't be in our squad anymore.

QUOTE (dst @ Mar 26 2009, 10:23 AM) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Have you seen Adebayor play? I hope we go bankrupt before we sign that mediocre idiot. 30m? I would not pay more than 5m for him! And 12 million for Kjaer? No way! What are you living in 2000? Right now prices are inflated and if we want good players we have to pay the cash. Simple as that. Would you say paying the inflated 22 million for pato was a mistake? Regarding Adebayor: He has 12 goals this season. Furthermore, hes been injured for 1/3 of the games. He's big/strong/great at controlling the baller/ very fast and has a good shot. His finishing would improve over time.

The quality of the player has nothing to do with the quality of the club or its league standing.
Di Gennaro has been linked with a return to Genoa (who own the other half of him). Abate has been linked with a move to Roma. Those to are reasonably good clubs.

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Mar 27 2009, 12:38 AM) Regarding Adebayor:
He has 12 goals this season. Furthermore, hes been injured for 1/3 of the games. Why would we want yet another player who's got injury problems?

QUOTE (CrazyMilanFan @ Mar 26 2009, 03:18 PM) i prefer paloschi to adebeyour and for that 30 million get a defender and stiker from udinese Quagliarella or floccari or pazzini or G.rossi ADEBEYOUR MUST NOT COME!!!!!! Of that list i really like Quagliarella, because he adds a fear factor, he has scored from the weirdest angles and could force the goalies to play on their heels (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Pazzini will NEVER leave SAMP, espescially if they lose cassano to juve. (i hope they retain both players though (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) )

The Viola fans have a very naughty song about Quagliarella (to the tune of 'Alouette'). Never could quite get all the words, though. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Di Gennaro has been linked with a return to Genoa (who own the other half of him). Abate has been linked with a move to Roma. Those to are reasonably good clubs. C'mon guys you don't really think that Abate is better that Yoan, i really hope so. Yoan plays in a team that are fighting for the french league 1 title for the first time after 5 or 6 years, the first time that some club is in run with Lyon (the same lyon that should beat barca for 2 goals at least in the champions league 1/8 final first leg) and Yoan is the best player there, he is a third scorer and first assistant, absolutely the best player in a club that isn't 18th (torino) in Serie A. He have scored 7 goals and he have 9 assist, abate 1 goal and 1 assist so c'mon abate is not anywhere near to yoan. Just admit that you don't like Yoan, but don't write he is a bad player or that such as abate is better only to write something anti-Yoan... I don't like some players too (Kuyt, Raul and so on) but i would never say that they are crap of players only because i don't like them or that Paloschi is better etc etc.... Bring Yoan to Milan!

I never said Gourcuff was a bad player. Never once. Please do not put words in my mouth. I also never said that I thought Abate was a better player. What I DID say was that I would prefer to see Abate and Paloschi back instead of Gourcuff.
No, I don't like Gourcuff. I think he doesn't have the mental toughness to play for Milan, while he does very well at a lesser team - in other words if Milan brings him back, I think he'll pull a Gila.
Why do I want to see abate and paloschi back? They're Milan youth products, they're talented, and I think they could really help the team.

serie a > ligue 1 but not by that much. serie a was the best ligue for the better part of the past 25 years but obviously this is no longer the case, at least for the time being. so i dont think it's completly out of order to compare players from the two leagues, even though the syles are different and one is still superior (albeit by a small margin IMO). i mean people have no problem comparing kaka with CR, messi with CR, buffon with casillas, etc. all different player from different leagues. edit*leagues not ligues (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
