Also read somewhere that until his last wonder goal (the highlight of which was posted here), he'd has a long series of 'low-energy' performance. That was the term used. Makes me wonder it does.

I would like him back, just to give him one more season proper, and then decide. Just like we gave Gila that one last season.

You never know. He could be the next Zidane or the next Aimar. Too early.

I think he deserves a shot.. like Jack said, if Gila got that many shots then Gourcuff deserves one. Personally I wish he was loaned to a Serie A team so he'd get some Serie A experience. As for the low-energy performances, part of that is him being one of Bourdeauxs top players and he starts most of the games. At Milan he can rotate and get more rest.

Today rumors says that if Anceloti stays with milan that Adebayor, Clichy and Ager will come for sure in Milan. And maybe also Mexes.... I don't believe this but it will be very nice.... It also says that if Anceloti leaves Milan that Milan will start with the ''green line'' and leave Kaka to Real Madrid and begin a ''new era''!

I think Maxwell have a in his contract that he can go only out of Italy, parameter 17 i think so if this is true he is going to Barca to replace silvinho....

On Carlo, galliani says that he will stay in Milan for 99,9% and that they will discus transfers once they will now which european competition Milan will play...

now i read his manager interview and he said maxwel can stay in Italy so he can come in Milan, after the season with Janku and similar players he will be a great reinforcement if he joins Milan, with him Tiago, Mexes (my biggest hope) and Zambro this will become a great defense like Milan deserves. With also bonera, darmiani(my second hope), albetrazi (my third hope:D) mattioni and also with nesta if he get better this will be really a great defense that Carlo can rotate how ever he wants.... i dont share your view but this is an old story... He won everything with milan and with some reinforcement he will bring milan back on track for sure, he is with us for a long time and i think he deserve one more chance.... Look at ferguson with manchester, in the first seven years he won nothing.... at look at manchester now. And Carlo won everything in the first seven years and i hope he will bring milan to the stars like he and we deserve....

Going to respectfully disagree that Gourcuff has proven a thing other than that he's good in the French league. To be as good as Kaka? Nah. Definitely not that. Is he a good player in France? Sure. But that doesn't equate to being a star in Italy.

But I'm not going to get into further arguments about Gourcuff because I don't really see the point. Some of you think he's the next big thing; I don't see it at all.

FYI, the latest rumors on Mediaset have Ancelotti NOT going to Madrid.

Hes 22, how can you even predict something like that? I've seen a total of 14 games with gourcuff playing a mix of french league/uefa. He has that spark to be a worldclass player. Its not just me who has said this but its a similar view held by top clubs around the world.


Right now he is the best youth player we have. He is better than gennaro/paloschi/abate etc. I just dont see your logic. The only thing I can see in your arguement is that hes not italian. At milan he was barely given chances to prove himself, furthermore our coach is no youth developer as can be seen by many examples so i can't see how you can judge him just like that.

Isn't it a bit arrogant on your part to say that he has no chance of becoming a star in italy when right now even the chelsea/bayern would kill to have him in their team; when bordeaux is willing to smash their transfer fee record to have him on their team.

Milan Ready To Move For Arsenal Star Emmanuel Adebayor – Report


Milan are ready to trade with Arsenal for Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor.

The Rossoneri are looking to strengthen their forward line and Il Corriere Dello Sport claims coach Carlo Ancelotti is drawing together a master plan in an attempt to convince the Gunners to part company with their man.

Reports suggest Milan will need around €30 million to persuade the Londoners to release ‘Ade’ and the Rossoneri are working to piece together the basic elements of the deal
within the next few weeks.

However, the Rossoneri may encounter some tough opposition as the publication claims the big striker is contracted until 2012 and is earning around €4m per season.

Just last week, il Diavolo vice-president Adriano Galliani warned that spending on a grandiose scale will be limited.

Should the Adebayor deal fail to lift off, the Italian side have a back-up scheme. A number of reports have linked Sevilla striker Frederic Kanoute to the San Siro.

Even for 30 million its worth it. I say go for him 100% We need a worldclass striker like adebayor. Trade viudez whatever needed. I'd even say let gourcuff go to arsenal for him.

Secondly, I disagree that Gourcuff got no chances. I think he did get plenty of chances and that he did not make the most of those chances (this view, by the way, was echoed by Gattuso in an interview to mediaset).

Thirdly, I don't disagree that Gourcuff has natural talent. That said, I think he's one of those guys who's much better off being a big fish in a small pond, much like Gila. I don't think Gourcuff can deal with the pressure of playing for a big club. Bordeaux is not a big club.

Fourthly, I'm not going to even respond to the implication that I don't like Gourcuff because he isn't Italian. Insinuations like that are insulting and beneath contempt.

Finally, I'm not going to respond further to any more of the Martyrdom of Saint Yoann posts in this or other threads because I think it's pointless. I don't think he's as good as some do and really would prefer not to be insulted again for having an opinion that differs from that of others.

Is gattuso a coach? Does gattuso know anything about upcoming youth players? Is gourcuff better than gattuso right now? yes, so why refuse him

Carlo Ancelotti Will Not Join Real Madrid - Adriano Galliani

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has stepped in to thwart attempts by Real Madrid to lure Carlo Ancelotti to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

On Wednesday, Tuttosport claimed the current Milan boss had met with Real Madrid
presidential candidate Florentino Perez to discuss a possible future in the Primera Division.

However, the scale of the reports carried in the Turin-based paper have provoked a stern reaction from the Rossoneri chief. Galliani is determined to show Perez his opposition. The Italian insists campaigns to get Ancelotti on a one-way flight to Madrid are futile, and he is ready to demolish Perez's hopes and outmanouevre the Spanish giants in an attempt to shackle the former Juventus coach to the San Siro.

"Ancelotti will stay at Milan 99.99 per cent," Galliani told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

"I am not worried about Ancelotti to Real Madrid. Perez is a good friend of mine, and he would never do such a thing without telling me first.

"All this attention means Ancelotti is the right coach for Milan, and we were correct in bringing him in."

Galliani recently warned that lavish spending on a major scale would not be the highlight of his club's transfer plans. The bald-headed director is waiting to see if Milan finish with a Champions League place before undertaking any far-reaching projects.

"All the market thnigs will begin when Milan are certain of which competition they will play in next season," concluded the chief.

Who wants Simon Kjaer has to pay 12 million euros.

Here's the price of promising Danish defender of Palermo. The prosecutor confirmed his Bekk Mikel: "Simon is 12 million, is the clause in the written contract says calciomercato.it

Honestly I do not know if you can leave Palermo Kjaer in June. We have another 4 years of the contract. I think that Simon remains in Palermo, but in football things happen so fast that everything can change. "

So 12 million isn't bad for a 19 year old. I say sign him along with mexes. We could use kaladze/boriello to lower the price.
