tribal's running a piece..supposedly a direct quote from Braida, saying the market's closed and will be for a long time. Supposedly, the financial situation means the club is not willing to splash. He's effectively slashed the Kuzmanovic solution.
But then again it's Braida on transfers, so it's 90% BS.

Perticone is getting votes in the 6-6.5 range pretty much every week for Livorno - and Livorno are in the promotion zone in B.
Jack, the tribal piece was picked up from Tuttomercatoweb, whose guys called Braida cold and caught him, I think, in an off moment. They asked about transfers and he commented something to the effect of, 'There are more important things going on right now, there's an economic crisis affecting the whole world, etc etc etc.' From what I took of the Italian version of things, they pissed him off and he snapped at them.

WOW Abate is only 22!? I thought he was 25+ and I was ready to say how he sucked against Juve and that we don't need him but if he's still only 22 then I'd welcome him. Though I still don't think he's what we need.
By the way, isn't Ignazio a Spanish name? Or am I mistaken?

QUOTE Milan Hop On The Keirrison Bandwagon
Italian giants AC Milan have joined the race to sign Brazilian sensation Keirrison.
Barcelona and Liverpool have already admitted their interest in the 20-year-old Brazilian with AC Milan now joining the race for Keirrison's signature.
Keirrison currently plays for Brazilian giants Palmeiras, on loan from Cortiba who own 20 percent of his contract. The other 80 percent of the striker's contract is owned by Traffic Sports Marketing, the same company who own the rights to Manchester United's Carlos Tevez.
The player, who has already netted 13 times in 10 games for Palmeiras, expressed his own desire to one day play for La Liga leaders Barcelona. However, his interests may soon turn elsewhere as his idol Ronaldo's old club AC Milan have shown their interest in the youngster.
Speaking via telephone on Brazilian talk show Bem Amigos, Rossoneri technical director Leonardo revealed his club's interest.
"The reason for my call is not to speak to Ronaldo," Leonardo said.
"I wanted to call Keirrison.
"Ronaldo has already played for Milan and scored goals, now it is time for Keirrison. It impresses me that he can score with his left and score with his right. He has the ability to dribble and has a perfect touch."
Flattered by the kind words of Leonardo, Keirrison still remained firm in his dreams of one day playing for Barca.
"If I was to pick a team to join from Europe, I would like to play for Barcelona, like Ronaldo and Romario. It would be great to play in Spain.
"I have watched Romario and Ronaldo play for them in the past and that made me aspire to want to play for a great club like Barca.
"I have also dreamt about playing alongside someone like Lionel Messi one day."

Hmm....the interview seems to suggest he's a dribbler. If we get another dribbler, we must plan to play a 4-3-3 or something.
If this dude is coming in, then I guess Ronnie is going out?
It's Leonardo vs the appeal of Barca. We'll see. I'm worried that Barca would offload Henry to us in a bid to get this kid. The advantage is that Barca is currently distracted by Benzema and would ignore Keirrison. So then it would be a toss up between Madrid and us, and I think we'd be better off. Of course IF we want him.
Zed, take a look at this kid. You're good with Brazillian youngsters.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) well, I believe in Leonardo. he must have seen something special in this kid. I don't really think there's any room for him at Barca. he better stop fantasizing! PS. 13 goals in 10 games for Palmeiras?! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) that's impressive!

No seriously. I no, it sounds like that, but I'd rather take your word for it. I honestly have no clue when it comes to picking outrageous talent. Esp not from youtube. I actually thought that Kerlon kid would be something. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) While G.Rossi would be another name lost to the annals of history.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Man, now I believe you when you say you're not good at picking talents! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I know. It's my way of thought. I saw Kerlon and I thought, some kid who can do that, must have a lot more up his sleeve. He'll be great. And when I saw Rossi, I thought so what else can he do. Meh! @CMF: I know the mechanics of the transfer. I was pondering the usefulness. Mikel is no Desailly. In any case we have Flam, Rino and Ambro in that position. I'd rather we got Kuzmanovic. Someone creative please.
