i hope we offload dead weight a la Emerson, kaladze, sheva + maldini is retiring so that's some decent money right there. Plus either portsmout or totteenham have expressed interest in Dida(goal.com). So i guess we will offloads players though i have no power, control, understanding of the administrative duties, as does the rest of us.

emerson will probably be sold, but max we can get is 5 million.

Kaladze will get us 10 milion max.

gourcuff will get us 15 million.

sheva doesn't belong to us.

Senderos doesn't belong to us.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

so if those transfers goes thru we will have a sh*t load of free wage bill.

We will have 30 million euroes. Will we try to balance the books with that money? who knows.

* WE MUStN'T SELL HIM!!!!!!!!
** i had no idea he still was chelsea's
***i knew that and im sure arsenal would ROFL if we signed Senderos for 10+, who i actually feel can develop here if the price is right. I feel his size, anchor is pretty good and with some training, improvements he can be a solid backup. HOWEVER i feel most of his time starting is unwarranted.

agree with you man, but i'll give you the exact figures of how things are:

Gourcuff is on a loan deal until june, with a buy out clause of 15 million, which bordeaux might do. So blame the idiot galliani who included a price in this loan. So unless gourcuff really wants to come back to milan and get benched by carlo, bordoaux will probably buy him.

Shevchenko belongs to chelsea and is on loan here until june. His buyout clause is 11 million. Activating this would be handicapped on our part. I would lose all respect for silvio if he buys him.

Senderos has a buyout of 8 million. But given our situation financially, we would probably end up not purchasing him.

QUOTE
Francesco Toldo has renewed with Inter until 2011. The Inter goalkeeper has signed this afternoon at the Palazzo Durini, a two-year agreement with the Nerazzurri club until 30 June 2011. "It gives me great pride to know that 37 years is a record for a goalkeeper in the history of Inter a two-year renewal," said the No. 1 Nerazzurri.

Why? I have no idea.

Plus either portsmout or totteenham have expressed interest in Dida (goal.com).

Actually, it was Newcastle, but the rumor was flimsy enough that many other news sites (incl. Channel 4) didn't bother picking up on it, and it faded away quickly.

It won't kill the club to keep him around for the last year of his contract, after which he'll likely call it a day. He's done a damn good job in the limited time he has had this season.

There are rumors again that we are after vidic. Apparently we are going to bid 20 million euros to united for him.

I call bogus on this because first of all united selling vidic would be stupid and certainly not for 15 million pounds. That wouldn't even buy ledley king.

United is known of their policy that everyone's for sale at the right moment and price. But I'm against it. Like Ivanovic, it only would mean another fail.

Personally i see no point even starting negotiations with them. 15 million pounds is a joke. United will most certainly say no. Unless we go in with 30 million pounds at the very least, we should forget about signing vidic.
