We can't rely on Seedorf, even more pushing him in a position that I'm sure he wouldn't want to play in.

Its time to face the music the old Milan #1 midfield in the world thing is over, Kaka is gone, Pirlo has gone with him, Seedorf is not starting material anymore and needs to take a back seat, Rino is not the all dominating midfielder he was either, age catches up to everybody and our management must face that. That was our diamond midfield from just 3 years ago, the midfield that people on general football forums dicussed at length whether it was the best in the world compared to that of Barca.

In all honesty from our current crop of midfielders only Flamini, Pirlo and Rino would make the cut for the first 11. We already needed another midfielder without concidering Pirlo leaving, but now that its looking more likely that he will leave, we would need 2 midfielders, someone to replace Seedorf, someone to replace Pirlo. And getting 2 midfielder when they even struggling to get the forward is something that I cannot see happening anytime soon.

We are forgetting Kaka - our most influential player has also left and is yet to be replaced.

I was all for clearing out Milan, but not on the terms which it was done.

I didn't include Abate because if we're really going for 4-3-3 I'm placing him with the forwards in my mind.

Those are the midfielders that can realistically play the flat 3 at the middle of the pitch

Yes there is clause 20 Mil €, and i know that Dzeko signed the first option Deal with Brada and Galliani so that's mean he can onlly come to Milan this year...

Wait are you guys trying to say that we will sign Dzeko this summer and not in January or next summer? This Dzeko thing and this clause confuses me a little bit. I would love for him to join us this summer. I actually like him more then Huntelaar or Fabiano (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

While Milan await news of Claudio Pizarro’s exchange with Andrea Pirlo, they are reportedly closing on Klaas Jan Huntelaar.

The Rossoneri rejected the first offer of £7m plus Pizarro to bring Pirlo to Chelsea, but are ready to consider an improved bid.

It was suggested this morning in both countries that they would accept if the cash sum was raised to £10m, but there are differing reports in England.

The Mail on Sunday claims Milan will only give the all-clear if Pizarro is part of the exchange and the delay is down to waiting for the striker to decide on this move.

In Italy the newspapers all believe Pizarro is a hindrance rather than a help, as Milan would prefer the entire sum in cash so they can go after their real targets.

That would be Real Madrid hitman Huntelaar, who rejected a loan move to San Siro earlier this summer and then saw a permanent switch to Stuttgart collapse.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Real are now prepared to release Huntelaar to Milan for around £9m.

It is considerably less than the £18m requested by Sevilla for Brazil striker Luis Fabiano.

Milan need to bring in fresh faces after a disastrous pre-season set of results and they resume those friendlies on August 8 against Benfica.

That is followed by the Trofeo TIM with Inter and Juventus on August 14, then going head-to-head with Juventus for the Trofeo Berlusconi on August 17 and Kaka’s Real Madrid on August 25.

lots of teams are not buying players cuz they are just waiting till the last week of the transfer market. they are stalling and making real madrid desperate . madrid cant handle having to pay all those salaries. transfers market's last week is going to be insane. i think galliani is just waiting for that to happen .

Milan Send Bronzetti To Sevilla For ‘Final Assault’ On Luis Fabiano - Report

AC Milan have reignited their chase for Sevilla hot-shot, Luis Fabiano over the past few days and it has now been reported that they are ready to finally make an improved bid.

According to the Il Sussidiario website, the Rossoneri have sent FIFA agent, Ernesto Bronzetti to Seville to make one final assault for the Brazilian striker. It is believed that the Serie A giants will increase their initial offer of €14 million to €18 million plus incentives, but it is unlikely that they will meet Sevilla’s €20 million price tag.

Il Diavolo have also instructed another official FIFA negotiator, Peppino Tirri, to head to London to begin talks with the executives of the Rio Group, the company who owns 65% of the player’s rights.

Just a few weeks ago, Sevilla, Milan and Fabiano’s agent had declared that all discussions regarding the striker’s transfer to the San Siro had been dead and buried. But the player’s representative’s recent comments that the Nervionense outfit intend to sell the 28-year-old in order to cash in on him during this summer trade period has re-opened to door for Milan.

It seems the future of Milan's transfer dealings all hang on the choices of Claudio Pizarro, as the 31-year-old Peruvian weighs up his options for next season.

According to Tuttosport, Rossoneri vice president Adriano Galliani is working hard to secure a deal on two fronts as Milan look to gain a good price for Andrea Pirlo and at the same time reopen negotiations for Sevilla’s Luis Fabiano. Meanwhile, Pizarro has been tipped to move to the San Siro as part of the Pirlo to Chelsea deal.

With coach Leonardo's heart set on bringing in the Brazilian to spearhead the Milan front line next season, it seems unlikely that the Rossoneri will want to acquire Pizarro on a permanent basis. Therefore, Galliani is hoping to use the Peruvian as a bargaining chip for Luis Fabiano.

As this recent summer saga begins to unfold into the most complex of transfer triangles, it could be some time before Milan know for certain who will lead their attack next season.

huntelaar- madrid's brought down the price& given us dibs, we oughta just sort out our priorities and go for this guy
hernanes- price is good, i fancy him playing box-box with flamini& rino giving cover+ he's always a ball winner& can construct as well as finish moves
