In a desperate effort to return to the base of this thread, i think we need to pursue Agger or Motta for the Other starting CB opposite Thiaguinho.

Also i would enter the Diego bid with Juve as they will most likely go for Cassana. (Main signing)

I would also enjoy a run for Zapata of Udinese who can compete to earn a chance at Left back and dramatically add to the defensive responsibilities of the position.

For striker i have the up-most faith in Boriello proving to be a god signing but to add insurance i Would go for Demba Ba of hoffenhiem for very little (only other team interested in soon to be demoted Blackburn). He is 6'3", very good aerially, he has scored 11 times in 22 games in brundeslaga and has a very high character: he scored a hat-trick in a 3-3 draw and deviated any praise his way to his coach & team. Unknown but would be nice:).

My last signing would be Vincenzo Fiorillo of Samp who has boatloads of potential : quick, soft hands, hard punch, gets low fast for a big guy, good character, fierce competitor, and a good prospect for nets down the road.

Ok for this one i can feel alot of hate coming my way, and it hurts because i love either of these players but one of Rino/pirlo has to go. I would have to say pirlo has the slight advantage in staying because when healthy, he can dominate and pick apart defenses, whereas we have a younger rino in Flamini that can be great for milan with a full year under his belt. so i guess rino should be sold.
If the offer is there for R80 (look for Man City with robinho leaving) i think he should be sold to allow my fantasy transfer market to happen, however, since it won't, he may stay...i guess (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

This is obviously very active for a summer transfer market but as the proverb goes " if it isn't broken don't fix it"...well we are REALLY broken and need fixing

The only serious objection I'd have to the above is selling Rino. I'd also think long and hard about selling Ambro.

I personally wouldn't want Diego - and I do watch the Bundesliga on a regular basis. he's quite good but there's...something I can't put my finger on...about his playing style that bugs me. Plus, well, he's got quite a temper. And we'd need to have a chauffeur for him unless he got his driver's license reinstated (it got pulled for a drunk driving offense).

Instead in midfield I'd make a bid for Cigarini.

Would definitely ship Ronaldinho out - Kurt will laugh at me for suggesting this but I wouldn't mind seeing Luka Modric. He's very good but his play just does not suit the English league.

My though with selling Ambro is the Concept of Dying time, The best time to spend, if you look at it like currency, is players in their primes(Kaka' for instance). Second, developping young superstars(pato). The last and leat valued is the over the ill guys that only get worst with every year(Ambro). He does give us an aerial pressence in midfield but outside of that i don't think his value is anything outside of being a milan devotee, which, don't get me wrong, shounl't go unnoticed!

The cigarini idea, i can only go with what you know as for me, i have only heard his name here and there, you having said that i will pay attention to his work now. I Appreciate the input, thanks!
I feel that this kid Mesto with Genoa can truly replace an aging yet skillful Seedorf. He adds all that our favorite dutchman does with a lot more youth and pace, he has moves with are very uncharacteristic of most italian players. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

First of all Miss, i feel that i need to tell you this i am a HUGE dida fan!!!! (and you can read my previous posts and that will be clear for you to see (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

i don't think we can disagree that Abbiatti has been one of, if not THE most consistent force behind milan this year.
With that being said, you never really want to carry 3+ keepers if they are all 30+, usually you would want a proven backup and a prospect. The only reason i am selling dida to portsmouth is that he has interested buyers, and i do recognize this as being heartless but i truly am despaired and discouraged by the current team and would seek to do anything at the moment to better this great team. If milan can be defined as anything it's a team that loves and cherishes it's players (maybe too much :S) and i think the only reason fans have the right to want an overhaul is because no preparation was being coordinated between galliani & Carlo to transition out of our CL teams. And please believe me when i say this, Dida is not happy sitting on the bench, granted he is to profession, good-hearted to not make a fuss about it but he wants to play again, or else he wold have retired. I wont lie to you i dont care much for kalac but he is a solid backup. I assure you i AM serious when trying to, drastically maybe, pawn off parts of the team that still have value. Dida has value to all teams. Kalac has value to us only...hence selling dida. As i chose not to re-explain my "value time" ideology(in the reply to tennie), Ambro knows he isn't the feisty ball-winning mid he once was and i would not have a problem with keeping the man, i just feel that with all the untapped talent at midfield we have he should not be starting..

With all do respect, it took a while of thinking before i wrote that lol so i took into the "are you serious" part. i rarely write more then 2 sentences in a post hehe, and when i do, i am serious, though in this case i will grant you my despair may draw out more drastic ideas from me.
