Both positions should carry a part of the balast on their shoulders.

We're going in cricles. Jack's been very right - if we need a midfielder, it's a Lampard/Gerrard one.

L'Equipe is reporting that Gourcuff is negotiating with Bordeaux.

Globoesporte is reporting that Flamengo want Ronaldinho and that his brother is in Brazil working on negotiations.

Milannews reports that Milan are looking at Dossena and Tevez.

Cruyff is, in Gazzetta, recommending Van Basten for the Milan coaching job.

I'd be open to sell dinho as our midfield is Ridiculously crowded

i'm mellowing to the idea of keeping ambro as a backup and i have no problem with Seedorf playing As long as we got someone moving up the ranks ready to overtake him if/when the going gets rough.

I thought you rated Tevez. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I wouldn't complain if MvB and Tevez were to come. Tevez is not that amazing but he's better than nothing. and Mvb... let's just say I miss some attacking football! even though Rijkaard would do it!

Tevez is Amazing....His versatility is beyond this world...we can play 4-3-1-2....Pato-Tevez;Kaka up front, Tevez-Inzaghi;kaka, Tevez-Borriello;kaka, Pato-Borriello;Tevez, Kaka-Tevez;Ronnie, Tevez; Ronnie Kaka, So many
ways..Plus he fights to get back the ball a lot...I don't think i've seen a striker that fights to get the ball back like him...well maybe except Eto'o....But Tevez could really be a good addition....plus he's still young

(please, no old jokes or I will hit you with my cane) I recall that MVB was, as a player, something of a primadonna. He was, for example, a big part of the reason Sacchi was fired and Capello came in. He seems to have had a somewhat difficult personality as Netherlands coach too, though to be honest, I can't blame him for refusing to call up Van Bommel.

by the way, milannews is reported that the club is looking at a young goalkeeper: Andrea Consigli, who plays for Atalanta. Consigli has more or less taken over the starting goal job from Coppola and is also the #1 for the Azzurrini. He's 21. Last year he was the starting keeper for Serie B side Rimini and had a stretch of 600+ minutes without conceding, which isn't too bad.

well the reason i ask that is because i remember van basten and seedorf having a bust up over MvB's national team selection. I believe MvB snubbed Clarence for WC 06 and for that reason Clarence rejected his call up for Euro 2008?

I don't think Seedorf would leave, he'd just get the playing time he deserves. I don't think if Rijkaard came Dinho would leave either.

Hmmm, Consigli is very highly rated and is a potential no 1 one day.
