Seedorf will stay I hope and get used to his role as a backup.

How do you know Ancelotti is going to leave?

Hmh? Why should he?

Naah, I'm throwing it all away. Just don't wanna play this "amplify game". I enjoyed yesterdays match, as it was the first football match I watched in nearly 14 days. With or without the man who scored.

You know, most of the time I only get half of what you say. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What I meant was that I can't see Seedorf being demoted to a backup role as long as Ancelotti is here. Not next season anyway. I hope he will surprise me.

Killing both is an option too. Sacking both? A few solutions will appear.

Ancelotti still coach and Seedorf benched? Oh, I can see that. Especially when Gourcuff arrives.

Ancelotti should go. Seedorf could be useful as a sub.

I understand you think Gourcuff will return?

Naturally. That or Milan should be banned for making such a wrong decision. Every other option then Gourcuff playing for Milan next season is wrong, wrong and wrong.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not!

I'll go for the former.

For Seedorf to be benched, we need someone like Gerrard or Lampard to play in his place. It's the one hole in our mid-field we can't seem to plug...not after 2 years. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Yoann is good, but I fear he's not the type of player who wishes to defend. He's probably best left to play attacking. Which of course leaves us with our precious Christmas tree.

So what's it gonna be- Gourcuff or 2 strikers?

For Seedorf to be benched, we need a coach that's not best friends with him!

Gerrard won't leave Liverpool, Lampard is a possibility. I'd love to see either of them in Milan.

I think your fear is not justified. Gourcuff at Bordeuax (I've only watched him in the first half of the season, not recently) has been defending no less than Seedorf has been at Milan.

In my view, Gourcuff would a great replacement for Seedorf.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Like I said before, best of both possible worlds.

@Jack - yes, it's a very good question. I've been watching Gourcuff all season long, and yes, Blanc usually gives him a free role with little defensive work. Biggest problem is we have to find a player i) avaible, ii) good enough to get an instant spot between Pirlo-Rino-Kaka-Ambro, iii) matchfit and not so old

So basically, simple logic would say we have to get us a striker; bring back Abate as well, sell Gourcuff.
Only situation that changes the conditions drasticaly is if Kaka leaves. Then we should hold on Gourcuff and regroup both the midfield and attack.

Naah, as much as I'd like to agree, just can't. He's been very inconsistent in the back; sometimes he simply forgets to defend or acts like he's Paolo Rossi. No, no, no,...I wouldn't call him a Seedorf replacement.
{speaking more of the Seedorf position then the recent Seedorf figure/player}

+1 @ dst

If we lose Gouruff to Bordeaux, we must go for another midfielder. I can't see Lamprad or Gerrard leaving their teams in a million years. I think we better aim for one of Madrid's Dutch midfielders now that their in the middle of a crisis. preferably Sneijder.

Can Sneijder tackle??

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'm sounding like a broken record.

Actually if any midfielder have to help the defense it's the Pirlo position midfielder not the Seedorf position midfielder! I don't know why you're so insistent on this, Jack.
