Yes, but probably 50% of the fans Madrid have now are the ones who are their because the Madrid management bought into the image instead of the football. Long before some Real managers started to create this 'image' buy the fans into supporting Real they were an extremely popular club, weren't they? I can't believe that 50%, it's gotta be much less than that!

There are a lot of Madrid jerseys and other apparel seen out here. Meh. To me, it's merely the equivalent of being among the other sheep wearing LeBron or Kobe jerseys.
