Have you anti-adebayor fans watched the match tonight? Yep he is totally overrated, NOOTTT! He is fantastic, i can't imagine anything better than Adebayor playing a target player in front of Kaka and Pato, That will be fantastic, simply amazing!! He is the best transfer target for Milan attack this year for sure, he is young and tactically amazing, he is my number one wish for the summer! Sure for the offensive part of the team (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) !

He was bad in the whole game... and he's not the first mediocre player to score that way...

Anyway in my opinion Adebayor is nowhere near world class and he would only join us for a higher-than-world-class-price, so definitely not worth it in my view. If he was to come for a reasonable sum then yeah but it's not going to happen.

In today's transfer gossip, Kaka is quoted in the Daily Star (an English tabloid of dubious reliability) as saying he likes the Premier League and that the guys he knows who play there speak well of it. He also says that the EPL could be his choice of leagues if he should leave Milan, according to the article.

Well, I wasn't thinking about the price... just talking football-wise, I think Adebayor could help us a lot.

There may be something to the Allegri rumors -- there are interviews by Cesare Maldini (Il Capitano's father) and Chicco Evani (Primavera coach) in today's press, both saying that an Allegri move is possible. Then on acmilan.com's italian page, there's a curt statement in the ticker where Galliani denies any negotiations with other coaches. so.....

Regarding Kaka, I dont look at marca or As as serious. I mean when they photoshop images and give him No 5, how serious can you take them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) .


I don't think he'll move in the summer and Galliani has come out rather quickly on multiple occasions to squash the rumors. He won't move, not yet anyways. If we still are not fighting for anything next year then its expected. We are a great club but there is a line and if we cross it we'll lose our great players like kaka. If kaka leaves expect Pato to be next on the train as well.

Recently, Milan's Brazilian maestro Kaka has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, reportedly dependent on Florentino Perez regaining his role as president. However, vice-president Adriano Galliani has once again moved to quell any suggestions that their star player will be leaving.

"Every morning I read about it, maybe it's even a bit funny, but the reality is something else entirely. The reality is that there is no negotiation for the sale of Ricardo Kaka," he clarified to Sky.

Galliani went on to dispel the rumours that Cagliari coach Massimiliano Allegri could be in charge of the squad next season.

"Milan has never contacted any coach since the establishment of Carlo Ancelotti, who has a contract with the club until June 30, 2010."

Several coaches have been linked with the Rossoneri hotseat after a disappointing campaign that saw Milan bounced from the UEFA Cup by Werder Bremen and fall out of the Scudetto race by mid-season.

Official: Cagliari Coach Allegri Renews Contract Until 2011


Cagliari's official website has revealed that coach Massimiliano Allegri has extended his stay with the Sardinian club, signing on until 2011.

"This week, a two-year agreement was formalised with the coach as part of careful planning for the future of our team," read the statement.

Interestingly, the latter part refers to recent reports that the coach had been approached as a possible replacement for Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti.

"Cagliari Calcio is flattered and proud by the attention given to our coach by a large club, but confirms that Allegri will remain on the Rossoblu bench until 2011."

After losing their opening five matches of the season, the island side opted to stick with Allegri and the move paid huge dividends, as the minnows now sit in seventh place in the Serie A standings.

Mexes and Adebayor make milan list. The Rossoneri are ready to invest around €60 million to bring the duo to the Stadio San Siro.


Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport today suggests that the mooted departure of Brazilian star Kaka for Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid could have a silver lining for Milan; the Rossoneri would recoup the required funds to sign Roma central defender Philippe Mexes and Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.


According to the Spanish media, Real Madrid presidential candidate Florentino Perez is prepared to put €60 million on the Rossoneri’s table to prise Kaka away from San Siro. The Via Turati directors would immediately reinvest the money on two players that have long been on the club’s radar.

Mexes is tied to the Giallorossi until June 2011 and is valued at around €16m. With Paolo Maldini set to retire and Alessandro Nesta still hindered by injury problems, the Frenchman is seen as the ideal man to bolster the rearguard and would form a defensive partnership with Brazilian man Thiago Silva, who joined the club last January.

As for Arsenal ace Adebayor, he was already linked with a move to Milan last summer but the Rossoneri eventually plumped for Ronaldinho.

Milan are reportedly keen to offer the Togolese international a bigger wage packet, however, the Gunners are expected to hold out for at least €28m.

Won't happen. Galliani said already mexes is impossible. Also as much as I think adebayor would be a great addition to our squad, he is not worth 28 million. We can add another 2 million and get the world's best striker for that amount.

Barcelona President Joan Laporta Advises Kaka To Stay At Milan

After turning down a lucrative offer from Manchester City in January, there are widespread suggestions that Milan star Kaka will leave the club at the end of the season and relocate with Real Madrid.

But Barcelona president Joan Laporta thinks that would not be a wise move for Kaka and explained his reasoning in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I would be happier if Kaka stayed at Milan,” he asserted. “He is a world-class player and I would tell him not to leave the Rossoneri, who are a great club.”

There are reports that Milan and coach Carlo Ancelotti could go their separate ways next summer. Former Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard is among the favourites to take over the reins at the San Siro.

“Frank is one of the best coaches in the world,” noted Laporta. “He would do great things at any club, even more so at Milan, where he played.

“My decision to sever our ties with him was the hardest I ever made during my tenure and I almost cried when we said our goodbyes.”

Thanks Laporta. But we all know you just don't want him in Madrid because he will rip you a new one on el classico derbys.

Don't think it's necessarily changed that much, zeddie.

I think the Allegri rumor is interesting, whether it's true or not. Part of me half thinks it is, with comments about it from Cesare Maldini and Chicco Evani. This doesn't necessarily mean I want Allegri as Milan coach or think it will happen (nor does it mean I do or do not want Ancelotti out; truth be told, I'm neutral on the coaching thing); it just means that it's an interesting little puzzle.

On the bit about Milan wanting Adebayor and Mexes surely Milan would want more than 60 million euros for Kaka?!?

I'd love Adebayor and think we should reinvest in cheaper young Italian defenders and a world class midfielder if Kaka leaves. I would hope Fabregas, but a hope is all it is.
