I doubt we'll lose him this summer. Looking at our current condition and placement, I think at this point it would be suicide if Galliani were to sell him. people are not happy with the team right now and selling kaka would cause a ripple effect that I"m sure nobody wants. It would seem illogical to sell our best player for just cash at this point in time.

We might sell him next summer though after the WC if he really wants to go.

Goal.com (i know i know, let me finish) are quoting mediaset (havent checkout their original article) saying Galliani said

QUOTE
"[Luca] Antonini, [Alberto] Paloschi, [Davide] Di Gennaro and [Ignazio] Abate have a lot of probability of coming back to Milan next season. [Michelangelo] Albertazzi will reach the first team."

Antonini is already at the club though, unless someone at goal has screwed up (very likely) and they are talking about Antonelli who is currently co-owned with the Crociati

Even if this is only partially correct, its encouraging to hear that we may be relying on our youth players more

Check back a couple of pages, whoarethepatriots. Goal.com's translation is (unsurprisingly) garbled. Galliani did indeed say that Abate, Paloschi, and Di Gennaro have a good possibility of returning and that Albertazzi is going to be playing with the grownups next year.

Albertazzi is also 17 years old. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) And skinny as a stick. He will need to bulk up some. But he's definitely got the talent.

Kurt and I may be the only two who rate Ambro but, well, I don't want to see him permanently benched. Would at this point prefer him to start over Flamini, though Flamini has finally adjusted to Serie A and is doing rather well.

Ambro should keep the bench warm

I am shocked!

I was defending Ambro long before it was cool to do so

if by cool you mean wearing socks with sandals then yes!

I don't agree with the logic implemented. I strongly dislike paroles like "youth must play", "we have to get rid of XY to be able to play the young YX". It's the same phrase used in politics: "give the youth a chance".

It depends on how good these players are. I think Milan's technical, professional and managerial structure is the closest factor to a objective and sure judgment. What can we say? Can I say Albertazzi good? Yes, sure. But I'm not an' insider, so, my opinion is of little importance.

Beckham should go away in order to make place for talented players in midfield who can play for Milan at highest level. Are there any? Only IMO, Gourcuff, and he's also a big question mark. So, unless we sign/ensure another midfielder-talent, I'm not sure we should give up on Beck's.

+1 Though as we have seen with Pato, an injextion of Youth into the squad can make a big tempo-changing difference

Pato is not the same type of youth as say a Paloschi or someone else. Pato's already got the skills and the moves. He just needed to get used to the team and maybe improve his finishing/decision making. That's a different kind of learning.

I don't think Kaka's going anywhere this summer (Marca...pfft), but he has been decidedly more antsy this season, to the point where he's publicly criticizing Milan Lab. Not really the image expected from our perfect Golden Boy, though he can hardly be blamed for the latter.

I do think a move to other shores is inevitable, though, unless this team gets its head out of its collective nether regions and starts winning again.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Yup...with the usual photoshop and everything. Galliani has already come out and said Ricky isn't for sale, now that the matter of getting a pay hike has been resolved.

Have you anti-adebayor fans watched the match tonight? Yep he is totally overrated, NOOTTT! He is fantastic, i can't imagine anything better than Adebayor playing a target player in front of Kaka and Pato, That will be fantastic, simply amazing!! He is the best transfer target for Milan attack this year for sure, he is young and tactically amazing, he is my number one wish for the summer! Sure for the offensive part of the team (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) !

I know. But some people just think borriello is too good and much better than ade so we don't need another striker to compliment pato. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

No, thanks. We'll stick with Pegleg Borriello instead.

Why would we sell Kaka for 60m euros when we could have sold him for 100m to Man City? Doesn't make sense.

I don't think Adebayor is a world-beater striker at all, but I'd definitely welcome him here.
