QUOTE (dst @ Jan 17 2009, 03:29 PM) *
Berlusconi does not say that Kaka asked to leave unless they'd pay him as much as City offered. And of course he does not cause it would be a lie. Personally I will not believe whatever they tell us cause it's more than clear to me that Milan decided not to turn down the offer and let Kaka go when he would not have pushed to go.

The only question is do you think Milan did right or wrong to accept this massive offer?

My answer is not direct but it's quite clear; Milan are supporting a family image... but they also think that even a family has a price.

Exactly

This is going to be one sad night. I was eagerly waiting for this game all week and now I'm dreading it, because I know that this will be the last time we see Kaka play in the Milan shirt.

goal.com ran an article on this whole affair. Its titled "If Kaka Moves To Manchester City, Football Is Dead"

Its a powerful title and some of the stuff he says is true.

Milan should not escape criticism though. They have been tempted by the devil and, like Eve, they could not resist the juicy-looking apple. The second symbol of Milan, after Paolo Maldini, has been sacrificed for a pot of dirty money.

Sounds to me like this place has become AC Kaka.

Well, Kaka is our main player... However, we are AC Milan.

The problem throughout the world, as my dad says to me everyday, is management. The people who work in it are complete utter B******s. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

There is one clear thing about this saga - Kaka' is being forced to walk the plank when he doesnt even want to.

All us Milanfans want tonight is a Kaka' goal and an emotional celebration to end this fuss once and for all! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

If Kaka leaves then the management sends a clear message that everyone in the squad is for sale if the price is right. Our management succumbing to the Lure of Money is something I thought would never happen. What was that BS about we don't sell our star players.

Well i think the message is quite clear now whether or not Kaka leaves.

Silvio coming out and making a "Bang for the buck" statement kinda took Milan in that direction.

I am sorry, but this is unbelivable!!

WHAT THE HELL IS GOIN ON?

120 Mill Euro or whatever they are bidding, its just another step in an inflationary world where next year it will be broken by some other transfer.

Whats is the difference to all the rejected Real Madrid offers, as far asi recall, they offered up to 70plus million, and it was always said.. we sell only if he wants to go... and now? What some more money makes our management change their mind... and from what we have heard... its not even him who wants to go!! I became a Milan fan, because this team is different to others with treating players... the word family springs often to my mind. And now what? WHAT HAS CHANGED???? What am i not getting here? We are a RICH club, NOT A SELLING CLUB! Sheva was another case... but this is jeust ridiculous! Its not like berlusconi doesnt have a few billion euros!!!

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ANGRY! What do they think?

This deal includes something else... what do i know... OIL supply for Italy for the next 100 years may be... it just wont go into my head why they would sell a player like him, to a club like that, in the situation we are in, on his prime, with his influence, with his determination to Milan, with the fans love to him... IT JUST WONT GO INTO MY HEAD!!!
