Quick note: Of those on the injured list, Ambrosini and Bonera are 1 yellow away from a suspension. Theirs may be strategic injuries, given that our next game is against the Gobbi. Kaladze and Gattuso are also 1 yellow away from a suspension.

I'm not sure it's been mentioned previously but Walter Zenga has a touchline ban for this game. He'll be watching from the tribune somewhere. |

Well, with the next game against Juve (Gobbi is the nickname in Italian), one would imagine that Bonera at least (and probably also Ambrosini) would be desired starters. Better to hold them out of the Catania game rather than risk a yellow and suspension. Ronaldinho and Seedorf may just be being rested for the Juve game.

I don't think these are strategic injuries to be honest. We can't afford to be resting players or whatever in a game we're not guaranteed to win. There's no point beating Juventus next week if we drop points this week.

Zenga was banned when I watched the Lazio-Catania game too. What did he do? We should be motivated. Zenga is an ex-Interista. But I predict a hard match with them. If any team has a catanaggio-like formation then it's Catania. |

No. He's actually been promoted to Co-ordinator of Medicine, and as a result his previous position of club Doctor became free. That's been taken by Masimilliano Sala.
Either way, nothing has changed. There were problems last year, and that has continued this year. Whether Meersseman is the root remains to be seen, he is the common denominator in all of it though. |
