QUOTE (MizNelson @ Nov 10 2008, 02:39 AM) We can't challenge for the Scudetto with statistics like that. While we haven't actually lost as of late, it'll bite us in the rear sooner or later if we're going to continue like this. You get a good goal in after being 1-0 down in the closing times, that's called winning. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) You let in a stupid goal after you're 1-0 ahead in the match, that's called losing. Even though it's called a draw. This statement holds even more true when a team like Milan is playing a team like Lecce. Just been to a Lecce community forum, and they're rejoicing like they've won. That's the difference. We didn't draw today, we lost. We lost two important points. Lecce doesn't have to challenge for the Scudetto. We do. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And frankly, good show becoming a joke after staying on the top for only one week. It's not that we drew, it's how we drew it. Or lost it. All.

QUOTE (zdrossoneri @ Nov 10 2008, 02:51 AM) Post made before the kick off For me we'd already lost points with that lineup... it's like the 1000th time something like this happens to us... Isn't it the 2000th time?! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I'm sure I read it was a couple of pages back. QUOTE (MizNelson @ Nov 10 2008, 02:50 AM) Maybe Carlo will think twice now before putting Emerson in to play hitman with a puny 1-0 lead. Then again, who am I kidding? Nobody. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) You can't kid people with someone like Emo. QUOTE (MizNelson @ Nov 10 2008, 02:50 AM) I didn't hear any GKs mentioned at all here during the match save for Abbiati's backpass mishap. That's because they didn't earn it. Partly because we attacked like shtick. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) And partly because, I don't really know! But the bottom line is the keepers didn't have to make a single save. Except for Mr. Fascist getting beaten at his near post.

QUOTE (acid911 @ Nov 9 2008, 01:45 PM) Spot on. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) We almost didn't win this game first because of Borriello because he couldn't score, and then because of Carlo who had one of the brightest ideas in all history of humanity to not bring on the subs well after the 80 minutes. I mean it's not like we were leading 5-0, when things are not working, change something! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) How hard it is to understand. And finally we lost it because of Emerson foul, a player who no one in Milan should ever even have thought about bringing in. FRANK RIBBERY WAS AVAILABLE THEN!. And why did we say no to Buffon and brought back that useless Fascist shtick when everyone and their moms know that he's 2nd quality at best for a club like ours. I know I would have, Tennie. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I would have. You can't play like absolute crap and expect to start next match. Oh wait, hold that though. In Carlo-land you can. But today's performance only fueled my suspicions that Bori suffers from Gila-syndrome. He was one of the top scorers last season, and now look at Gila, he's got 8 goals already (and that after missing two matches). Judging by the current standards, Fiorentina are a bigger club than us this season, they finished fourth and are in the CL. We aren't. I do however know 2 things: 1). If it were Gila instead of Boriello, people would have crucified him. At least he scored 1 in 8. Or 2 in 8. 2). If it were Dida instead of Abbiati, people would have burned him alive, after having been beaten at his near post. In fact I'm sure everyone would have been blaming him for the draw (is it even a draw, feels like a loss), not Emerson. I'm out. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Forza Milan! Or what's left of it. Wow. Forza Kenny!

QUOTE (acid911 @ Nov 9 2008, 01:59 PM) Um, yeah, just between the two of us, I've been called lots of names before, but not Kenny. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Forza Kenny, anyway! I think 10e called you that in an earlier post, so I assumed that was your real first name. Er, maybe not. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) QUOTE (acid) Fiorentina are a bigger club than us this season, they...are in the CL. Not for much longer, with the way they're going.

QUOTE (MizNelson @ Nov 10 2008, 03:02 AM) I think 10e called you that in an earlier post, so I assumed that was your real first name. Er, maybe not. She actually called Kenny, Kenny. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I mean she was referring to our friend, gal_kenny. But yeah, on second thought, you can call me that, it's a nice name. QUOTE (MizNelson @ Nov 10 2008, 03:02 AM) Not for much longer, with the way they're going. Who cares! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) The history books will write that they were ahead of us in the 2008 season, played in the CL. The way Champions League is structured, anyone can be out in any moment.
