Carlo isn't wholly to blame for the result, as he didn't concede the foul that gave up the goal. However, this was one of his head-up-the-rear games, with his lackadaisical substitutions.

Well Carlo did put in Puma for no reason in the last few minutes. He knows he likes to make a lot of fouls, why take that risk? Especially when Dinho would have been fine seeing out the match. It was a stupid sub that he only made because he wanted to defend that goal.

It was a typical move by Carlo that once again we had to pay for by losing points

OK, in our last three matches, an own goal put us in first, an injury-time strike held off Braga, and we coughed up against Lecce after another Dinho score. That's a meager two late goals in three matches.

We can't challenge for the Scudetto with statistics like that. While we haven't actually lost as of late, it'll bite us in the rear sooner or later if we're going to continue like this.

Oh he definitely is. he brought Emo on just to foul on Lecce players and don't let them attack.

actually bringing emo wasnt a horrible sub, but playing with 1 striker the whole game was.

it's easy to say it wasnt carlos fault that boriello was missing chance after chance, but guess what he wanted tofr 10 minutes left in the game to take him off. and when you play with 2 strikers, then you have two options, two dangermen to set up vs. having one guy to look for to score.

Really the reason why we lost this game is because of Borriello...He gat at least 8 chances to score...How many chances does it take for a real top striker to score..I'm really pissed because of this really...Borriello should be benched next game i think..cuz that's how i'm feeling right now

Spot on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) We almost didn't win this game first because of Borriello because he couldn't score, and then because of Carlo who had one of the brightest ideas in all history of humanity to not bring on the subs well after the 80 minutes. I mean it's not like we were leading 5-0, when things are not working, change something! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) How hard it is to understand.

And finally we lost it because of Emerson foul, a player who no one in Milan should ever even have thought about bringing in. FRANK RIBBERY WAS AVAILABLE THEN!. And why did we say no to Buffon and brought back that useless Fascist shtick when everyone and their moms know that he's 2nd quality at best for a club like ours.

I know I would have, Tennie. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I would have. You can't play like absolute crap and expect to start next match. Oh wait, hold that though. In Carlo-land you can. But today's performance only fueled my suspicions that Bori suffers from Gila-syndrome. He was one of the top scorers last season, and now look at Gila, he's got 8 goals already (and that after missing two matches). Judging by the current standards, Fiorentina are a bigger club than us this season, they finished fourth and are in the CL. We aren't. I do however know 2 things:

1). If it were Gila instead of Boriello, people would have crucified him. At least he scored 1 in 8. Or 2 in 8.
2). If it were Dida instead of Abbiati, people would have burned him alive, after having been beaten at his near post. In fact I'm sure everyone would have been blaming him for the draw (is it even a draw, feels like a loss), not Emerson.

We will continue like this. it's been the way we've played in the last couple of years. Carlo is too stubborn to change his ideas with a draw. even losing out on the CL couldn't change him. we won't change. I assure you.

Borriello was just atrocious with five or six missed sitters. That's one fact none of us will dispute.

It was. In fact, more than horrible. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) If we can see that that bald duffer makes more fouls than challenges, why bring him in? I can't imagine he was preferred more than Gorcuff. Ronaldinho should have been left alone to finish the match, not subbed so he can showoff and get some lousy applause.
