I was meant to be taking a vacation to New York, but a death of one of my aunts cousins meant that I couldn't go, as I was going to stay with her but she had to fly to Florida for a while for funeral arrangements, etc. Then to cap off my month, I get stuck down with bronchitis. Ancelotti's did what was asked of him today and got all 3 points against a very good team. I think much of the credit for todays win should go to him. He did not substitute R80 even though he did not play good in most of the game. Instead he took out Ambrosini who was nearing his second Yellow card for Pato and we established a good pressure on Napoli after that. Ancelotti gets most of the sh*t when the team loses but doesn't get much praise when he should have.
I was very impressed with Santacroce. I hope Galliani & CO were impressed too , they need to sign this guy. |

Santacroce, Lavezzi, Hamsik are amazing... and all young. Napoli has a good base to build on if they can keep all 3. I would have happy with any of them ..

Yeah Carlos deserves credit for the Ambrosini-Pato switch. From that point on it was all Milan. While I think Pato plays better when counter attacking, he at least forced the defense to respect a vertical threat.
I think the days of Dinho dominating a match are over, but he will always be able to provide 3 or 4 moments of magic whether it be the 2nd minute or 88th minute. |
