Man, Fishdoll's going to have to burn all his cookies if that happens. I'll have to mail him to Turin.

As recently reported, AC Milan's Adriano Galliani stated that a new left-back could be signed in January. These are the most realistic and reliable options : Fiorentina's Manuel Pasqual (26), Liverpool's Andrea Dossena (27) and Lyon's Fabio Grosso (31).

On a side note, Romanian central defender Marius Constantin (24) of Rapid Bucharest is being monitored by AC Milan officials as a possible addition to the roster. His contract with Rapid ends in June, but he is available for January at just around 2 million Euros.

Grosso as a short term fix! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Then get a long term option in the summer.

I sure hope it's not Sagnol - he hasn't played consistently for over a year with recurring (and relatively serious) injuries. There's talk that he may retire.

So, in other words, it won't bother you if we keep Becks and therefore become a sellout so we can move jerseys.

We've avoided this so far with Ronaldinho because he's actually produced to an extent, but keeping Becks would be the last straw.

Then we can't rule out his arrival. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

You know right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleepysmiley03.gif) If they can gather up around 15 million, he's about as good as goner as anything. I want to kill the person who put this buyout clause in that contract. Stupidity of the century!

I think he's at Bordeaux and for them 15 million isn't pocket change. It isn't a buyout clause, it's a loan with option deal right?

Secondly, even if Bordeaux wanted him and came up with 15 million, there would also be the matter of giving him wages, which I'm sure will not be what he's earning now. So if Milan really want him, we'd just flex our financial muscle.

I'm cool with Beckham staying for longer. I've always felt he's a good player, and his lack of speed won't be too much of a problem in Serie A. I don't particularly care if it's a marketting move. He's an excellent player to have on the team. We need more people with long-passing ability.

basically i meant the 3 month loan deal the extension should depend on his performance but the shor term loan is ok to me we make good money from it

+1, though I think he should have been here longer. Damn... I always liked Beckham. He was my fav Man U player after Giggs. I couldn't stand Scholes for some reason. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) And I don't really grudge Beck's media attention. He was just a trailblazer that's all. IMO he's been a very responsible celebrity.
