Oh please...when Galliani says that it usually means the usual 2-year negotiation will start now... darn.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

He's gonna drop every big name, say we approached them and that the price was impossible for Milan.

and i hope we don't sign a "rino" replacement. we don't need another DM. unless its veloso, who can do more than just the rino role.

I second that. we don't need another DM (though considering Carlo's immortal love for DMs, I can see at least one coming in January (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ).

We need a creative midfielder because apart from Pirlo and to some extent Seedorf, there's no one else on this team. and that is not enough for Milan. we have 4 DMs but just 2 creative midfielders.

For what it's worth, Veloso's being linked to Fiorentina today in the Italian media. He's also not starting the Sporting CL game (though Moutinho is).

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) i think he always said a gr8 player and that was r80 in the end

No that's not all he said. After we realised a defender was needed, he said that Milan would onyl be acquiring a "great defender" who is a first-team player at another club.

i don't like mexes..he is easily exposed in the air, and in europe. a good defender for the roma/fiorentina type.

i'm also going to be a little disappointed if thiago silva is our maldini replacement and miranda is our nesta replacement. Are the two best defender prospects in the world really BOTH from Brazil?

and i hope we don't sign a "rino" replacement. we don't need another DM. unless its veloso, who can do more than just the rino role.

We certainly need a new CM. Emo can no longer play at the highest level and cannot be relied on for the rest of the season if we actually want to win something

The early speculation on a new central midfielder is suggesting (former Milan primavera) Fiorentina's Marco Donadel as a possible acquisition.

Indeed, he is a definite upgrade over Emo. I hope to see him back. Its funny how we bring back our Primavera players once they are in the mid twenties

Funny? I'd say it's worrying that we're unable to develop the youth ourselves.

If we're going to raid Fiorentina's midfield for a CM, I think I'd prefer to grab Kuzmanovic rather than Donadel. By the way, there's been a lot of speculation about departures from Fiorentina recently. Most of it has to do with Pazzini, however.

There are reports that the Zebras are also after William Gallas. I'd let them have him.

Are you talking about Juventus or Udinese?

Oops, sorry. In this context, Zebras = Juve. I'd still let them have Gallas.

So would I. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) And to think that French people usually do well at Juventus. Go there!
