Nahh..I have a feeling he will do well at Chelsea with Scolari there. Scolari wanted a left side mid and Quaresma needed a nice, kind coach with whom he was comfortable. The Chelsea crowd will lap up his 'insane skillzzz' and his inconsistencies will be less hyped about.

Despite the close of the transfer window in Europe yesterday, reports in Holland this morning have claimed that AC Milan are preparing a 40 million euro bid for Ajax forward Luis Suarez.

The 22-year-old Uruguayan international is having a fine season, having claimed 14 goals and provided 10 assists in 25 games.

Suarez joined Ajax at the start of the 2007/2008 season after impressing at FC Groningen during the previous campaign. He scored 17 goals for the Amsterdam giants last season and is believed to be looking to play at a higher level.

The 5.9ft supporting striker said in December: "My goal is to play for a big club. That is why I opted for Ajax, Rafael van der Vaart, Wesley Sneijder, Zlatan Ibrahimovic all used Ajax to move to bigger clubs."

Kingsley Umunegbu signed by Milan? Can someone tell me about him? I suppose he's a youth-reinforcement.

I actually remember him playing in a Coppa Italia match for us last season i believe or maybe the season before, and I remember him impressing me. He had good ball control skill in tight spaces, which was unexpected (at least by me). I think this was a match where Darmian, Albertazzi, Pato, and Paloschi all played in as well, alongside Emerson, Favalli...that sort of squad. He's a striker/attacking mid no?

we have signed Marco Rossi, the young parma LB! Its the third young defensive player signed by us in this transfer window! He played 17 games this year for parma. He comes on loan but we can by him at the end of the season for 2M!

We are changing the club politic? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

News is a bit old, I'm afraid, Kaka Il Capitano. There was a rumor about Rossi but it turns out that Milan did not actually sign him.

No idea how reliable the site calciomercato is quoting, however. There's nothing on Milan's site, on Gazzetta, or on Mediaset. Nor is there anything on lega calcio (the football league, where there's a list of transfers by team) site. There's a flat out denial that Parma intended to loan Rossi to anyone on Parma's site. I'm going to conclude that calciomercato got this one wrong.
