Just for the record, that means you're biased towards young players, right?

Rossi... I've watched him play and he never impressed me. He's not going to be our new great defender but we're probably going to need him this season.

Damn! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Let's develop our own Darmian. at least he has potential, is a former Primavera, is young, etc. etc. etc.

Newsflash:

- Milan will loan Darmain and Cardacio to Pisa (good move IMO since Emerson is staying and if we sign Rossi)

- Primavera team will be reinforced with Yassime Ennasry (1992)

- Parma GD says Rossi will stay at Parma

- Panucci will stay at Roma

No there's no problem. Only a handful of defenders look great at 21 anyway. It's just that I don't think Milan see in him a player they want to develop he's probably more of a temporary recruitment.

Rossi has more experience than Darmian. As much as I like the latter I think he might crack under pressure right now since we're in the race and all... but he should be given some chances next season!

Now you're overrating Nemanja Vidic. He's dominant in the air, has a solid tackle and his marking isn't poor. But all in all nothing sensational. Kaladze is another pair of shoes, I think he was Milan's worst defender just until the Swiss-man arrived. I don't wanna sound biased (getting sick of the word and it's abuse) but I usually rate average italian/serie A defenders above average english/EPL defenders, and above-average i/SA defenders above e/EPL defenders. So I wouldn't mix cathegories.

theres nothing average about 12 matches without conceeding a goal, he and ferdiniand being at the core of it. Man u has had amazing defensive record for 2 years running, that doesnt happen by accident.

Pato isn't cracking under pressure. there's a chance Darmian won't either.

Of course every young player has endure a great deal of pressure in the beginning, but passing this phase is what makes great players out of them. I for one am against loaning him to small sides. if Darmian really has the potential to become a great defender, they should let him stay and try his best here, not at Sienas and Empolis. not only he can learn from such masters as Nesta and Maldini, wanting to succeed at Milan will be a huge motivation for him.

The Rossi move apparently didn't happen. I agree with zeddie about Darmian staying - and Darmian himself basically said the same thing in an interview in Forza Milan magazine a couple of months ago.

We kept Kaka and brought in Mattioni and Silva.

Not sure if it's been noted elsewhere but Quaresma has been shipped off to Chelsea for 6 months by the cugini.
