I just looked and there's nothing official yet about either player on acmilan.com.

QUOTE Milan sign MattioniThursday 15 January, 2009Milan have reached an agreement with Brazilian club Gremio to sign Felipe Mattioni on loan until the end of the season. The Rossoneri have brokered a deal whereby they have first option to sign the 20-year-old right-back on a permanent basis this summer. “Felipe is already in Italy,” said Mattioni’s agent, Mino Raiola. “He’ll have a medical today. He has an Italian passport and can play soon.” Mattioni becomes the second Brazilian defender to join Milan in the January transfer window after Thiago Silva moved from Fluminense earlier this month. Their arrival could not have come at a better time as the Rossoneri continue to struggle with injuries at the back. Juventus were also interested in signing the Brazil Under-20 international, as were Manchester United and Ajax. Mattioni could make his Milan debut this Sunday as the Rossoneri host Fiorentina in Serie A. ::channel4:: C4 speaks of a loan deal... I hope this is clarified soon. I think a loan deal is better... we'll know for sure if he's good enough for Italy and Milan and it will be money well spent. Though for this to happen he has to be given enough chances to prove his worth...

The BBC article is City and that Kotschko guy talking. I don't think they're close to a deal, though there is talk in the italian media that City want Ancelotti too.
EDIT: the two guys referred to above are Agger and Mattioni.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jan 15 2009, 01:40 PM) I'm not sure he will... Carlo is not just going to play him regularly so unless he's something out of this world, he will turn out another Grimi! And he's playing at RB... I mean... Zambrotta is one of our most fielded players and I don't think that's only because he is our only real RB. Unless Zambro is moved to the left a couple of times I can't see Felipe getting a chance. QUOTE (CrazyMilanFan @ Jan 15 2009, 01:41 PM) milan should hold onto kaka atleast till june after that man city wont be playing in UCL while hopfully milan will be and i doubt kaka wont miss another UCL season unelss if he to is a money hunter I don't think it's Kaka who wants to go. If what we're reading is at all true, it's Milan that seem to be considering this massive offer.

I will note that it's the reports in the English press that indicate Milan are considering the offer.
