Rooney isn't the same type of striker, hes never going to get more than 25 league goals, in a season, in his career in my opinion.

yes were in rebuilding mode but what people fail to understand that it's not as simple as buying a few players and poof everything is fine. like buy ronaldinho and overnight our problems in attack are solved, and then next summer buy a world class CB and thats it problem solved. it can take years and several players to find the right mix.

like right now our mercato is good but it's about on par with the average one for all the other top clubs. we arent going to make up lost ground with this sort of effort.

our defense was old 4 years and and here we are and nothings been done, and we have no one in our system that can step up and become a starter.

it goes to show how fragile this team is.

Yes today he played in the striker position but only yesterday Galliani and Ancelotti were talking that he (in emergency cases) could also play like CB. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
So he seems to be our allround player. No seriously this should not be happening in a top club like Milan (in most cases it takes months or years that the player can adapt playing in a certain role) - you can't have a man switching positions from defence to attack. But in this game it was probably the only solution so let's forgive them for this time.

Exactly. it's all well and good saying Kaka' and Pippo were injured or whatever.. why doe sit matter, were they going to play CB for us?

We had a back 4 of Zambrotta - Bonera - Maldini - Jakulovski I think. So the only change their would be Nesta in for Bonera, and depending on the game, Kaladze in for Maldini. It's all well and good saying they'll improve the team, but Chelsea ONLY had Anelka up front, not even Drogba!

Chelsea are a far superior team in every position on the pitch. What was Ancelotti thinking playing this formation.

THink about it we played most of our defensive players on the pitch and they couldn't contain Chelsea or do anything. It looked like a bunch of amatuers.

The key with Milan is overconfidence in themselves. Sure we didn't have our starting 11 but it shows how ineffective we are without starters on the pitch. Whereas teams like Chelsea don't have bench players every one of those guys could be starting.

We have players in the Olympics but there is no reason we should be getting beat 5-0 by any team especially when we are playing all our defenders.

Maldini and Ambrosini should retire because they are a joke, regardless of how great overall Maldini is to the game, he doesn't have the magic anymore and Milan's defense is getting more pitiful each year.

Just because we got Flamini and Ronaldinho doesn't mean we have the scudetto won, who cares what all these commentaries suggest.
