QUOTE (KillerMax @ Jul 26 2008, 09:37 PM) Pirlo hasn't taken a decent free kick in ages... I think he didn't even score a free kick the whole of last season. So... Ronaldinho for me. He scored against Inter last December. Don't you remember that one (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

There're other guys on the team who are good at dead balls. For example, when he was at Lazio, Oddo was the dead ball specialist -- and pretty good at it too. It's good that Pirlo has competition, though, in the form of Ronaldinho.

But I'd somehow not trust him with curling and swinging, long range, over-the-air free kicks. Maybe it's because I haven't seen him take one, seems like Roberto Carlos of a kick taker. But still, when it comes to creative free kicks, it's an alternate of Pirlo or Ronaldinho for me. Or Seedorf when he's in the mood. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE (KillerMax @ Jul 26 2008, 09:48 PM) No. Last season was one to forget. All I remember from last season is Pato, and Kaka's bits and pieces of out of this world brilliance. Lousy excuse (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

QUOTE (KillerMax @ Jul 26 2008, 08:12 PM) He was a complainer on the pitch. That's pretty much ALL he did. He took the pitch with that mentality of "I'm a poor victim, please everybody, help me score, you too ref, or I'm going to cry like a baby. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) " His characteristics remind me of Ross from Friends. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Well I was more pointing out to off the pitch complaining ie. talking to the media, which he never did. I do agree that his whining on the pitch got annoying at times, but he's nothing compared to Pippo on that front. However Gila was not always like that though, it only started happening last season, and not only that, I was watching all the goals Milan scored from 03/04 to present on Milan Channel and even his body language changed towards the end. His first season when a ball came in the air he actually attacked it, during last season he still jumped for the ball but he didn't even bother with attacking it, even some of his movement that he showed during his first season he never showed it again, you could even see him running with the ball from the middle of the pitch where as in his last season all he did was stand and wait for the ball to get to him. I think there's a whole bunch of reasons regarding Gila not working out for us, and I don't think that him being not good enough factors into it QUOTE (vahid @ Jul 26 2008, 08:18 PM) I don't have any idea about R80!
Now he takes our free kicks or Pirlo will be the first choice? They'll take their chances, Pirlo hasn't been that great from them last season although when he did score a free-kick it was always a memorable one (Inter) At least now we have options from free-kicks, Pirlo, Seedorf and Dinho are all great at them plus I've seen Pato take a couple of good ones on youtube (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE (KillerMax @ Jul 26 2008, 08:37 PM) Pirlo hasn't taken a decent free kick in ages... I think he didn't even score a free kick the whole of last season. So... Ronaldinho for me. He scored against Inter, Benfica in the CL, the winning goal against Cagliari and there was another one that I'm forgetting who it was against atm QUOTE (zdrossoneri @ Jul 27 2008, 10:40 AM) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Ross? more like Rachel I'd say. Nah, definately Ross, he's the real whiney one
