Benfica and Ajax have amazing histories but can you see Ronaldinho going to either this summer?

It'd be an upgrade from where he is now. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

No. But that's cause they are not strong now and the leagues they are in are amateurish compared to the EPL... in my view, it's not that they don't care about history, it's just that money and fame, comes first for most people (I'm not judging anyone!) and then everything else. Chelsea can give you money and Chelsea can give you fame so...

When u say players aren't bothered about history now .. U r right, cuz there are only a handful of clubs with rich history and only a handful of players play for them. But when you talk about the world's best player two times in a row who is playing under a high paying contract in Barcelona and has won nearly every trophy there is to win and is sponsored by more than four Mega sponsors .. then it is only natural that his desire and next destination is Madrid or Milan. Cuz those two clubs are at the tip of the footballing iceberg !! He wont step down to a team that has won the EPL just 3 times in it's entire history (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Sure Chelsea have the finances to convince any player to sign; i.e. S7 (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ... But that is just the exception to the rule (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Bottom line is, Chelsea don't hold weight in the transfer market when Madrid and Milan are in the fray .. Maybe the management has been pinching it's pocket, but when it is in the market for a KEY player, nothing stops Milan (literally, nothing) not Abramovic or the next hot shot who thinks he can compete (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

It also depends on the players. There are not only clubs with or without class, but also players. There is a certain profile of players that joins Chelsea and there is a one that does not do that with such ease.

When we speak about class, Milan is on top without any concurrention. Real and Barcelona? Especially not Barcelona. I'll never forget the fact that they've released most of their legends when they didn't fit into their expectations/system (like Ablardo, Segi, Guardiola, Amor, Zubi; Manolo Sanchis, Ivan Campo, etc.).

Also, having Calderon and Mijatovic on helm of your club does not help. Still, Mijatovic is after all a former Real player, so,..

As for Kaka or Ronaldinho - simply said, I think that they're not so dumb to join the EPL. It would ruin them,... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I agree that it would ruin Kaka'/Ronaldinho to join the EPL. I think players in the German league are best suited to the EPL, guys that come over usually enjoy some success.

Fillipo pointed out my main reason as to why Milan have endless class, and Madrid have none:

Hierro was a legend of the club, and they just released him as they felt he wasn't good enough anymore. That'd be like Milan getting rid of Maldini Never!

Sergio is awesome. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

One of my favourite players to play in Italy, even if he did wear black and blue!

He just brings tears to my eyes whenever I go watch a game for him .. It is as if he was still 28 (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) ... And his crossing is still as accurate as ever. Class.
