Man. Seems like /some/ of the Merda are thinking of taking their toys and leaving the sandbox altogether.

Long article on tuttomercatoweb today. Here's a snippet:

link

[Mancini was assured before he went on holiday (ironically to Sardinia) that Suazo was a done deal. He's so furious that it fell through that he may take the opt out clause on his contract.]

Everybody knows Roberto Mancini is a BIG fan of David Suazo. He wanted him in Inter next season.

Must be gutted right now. He and Moratti.

Inters Deal for Chivu could now fall through, due to some kind of disagreement over Pizzaro

Rosella Sensei would rather ship him off abroad than to Inter (seems to be a trend now)

Just so everyone's clear on what the rules really are, here is Gazzetta's synopsis of how transfers work:

[The transfer market is officially open from July 2 to August 31, but from May 29 through June 29, one can deposit 'preliminary contracts' with the Football League. These preliminary contracts can then be finalized in the transfer window. A player under contract with one club cannot sign a contract with another club unless he has the permission of the one who holds his registration. If a player does sign a contract without permission, both he and the club he's signed for (ie, the one he's signed for without permission) risk sanctions.]

Very well then. Hopefully the player himself is satisfied too. You never know, he might prefer the Merda over us or he might get mad because of the whole shebang... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
