Portsmouth just won the Asia Trophy in penalties vs. Liverpool. Fernando Torres and Benayoun missed.
David James was the man of the match. He was brilliant. Liverpool totally dominated Pompey, Torres got 45 min. Muntari was good too on Pompey side. Nice match. Too bad the 0-0. Scousers thinking: "SELL TORRES. GET FOWLER. At least he knows how to score a fecking penalty!" |

Liverpool is, IMHO, the club with better center-midfield in Europe if you look at the number of players they've for that position and their quality. If it was in Italy or Portugal... I've no doubt Benitez would use the 4-4-2 diamond. But in England it's difficult. Playing with no wingers... |
