So what is Torres's natural hair colour? I thought he was a blonde guy...

Nah, his natural hair colour is pretty close to that picture. He dies his hair frequently and i must admit he does look better with blonde hair.

QUOTE
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has defended his record in the transfer market during his time at Anfield.

He told The Times: "At a time when we didn't have endless economic resources, I think that we made good signings in general. We should be talking about players like Reina, Agger, Mascherano, Xabi Alonso, Luis Garcia, Torres, Babel, Lucas Leiva, Skrtel and also Arbeloa, Sissoko, Fabio Aurelio, Kuyt. These are players who have brought a lot to the team. And in certain cases for example, Sissoko and Bellamy the club gained financially.

We have signed 28 players in four years for the first team. ((IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) What happened to the dudes already there!!)Considering that the number of changes we had to make when I arrived and the fact that without much money we have to take more risks, I don't think this is a disproportionate number."

Benitez also compared his spending with Liverpool's nearest rivals.

"Chelsea had spent £120 million previously and an additional £240 million to win the league in the 2004-05 season. Manchester United have spent £200 million in recent years. This year on Carlos Tevez, Owen Hargreaves, Anderson and Nani, that cost them more than £70 million. Tottenham have spent £100 million in the last two seasons alone. And Arsenal have spent more or less the same amount as we have on young players with potential.<> "In my four years at Liverpool we have spent £150 million and we have gained somewhere in the region of £70 million. Looking at those numbers, there's a difference of £20 million per season, yet we have won four [trophies] and played seven finals. When all things are considered, that's not a bad return. I think that we're on the right path."

If Serie A doesn't do something about TV revenue it's screwed.

It's from tribal football. But since it's not a rumour thing...I thought there might be something in it. The info given is very significant.

To bad Milan don't publish financial records. That's the trouble with being a privately owned enterprise.

Does anyone have any idea of giving us a breakdown. R7 was supposed to look up the figures on the net...but he couldn't find it I guess.

Don't forget we spent around 50 mill extra repairing the bloody stadium, to be fit for our CL ties(after the fan violence). Our 'glorious' cousins, didn't spend a dime, since they were already kicked out, and weren't gonna get jack shite. Arsenal vs Liverpool - 12:45 (GMT)
-Hyppia has agreed a new deal to keep him at Liverpool until June 2009.

Arsenal line-up

Almunia

Hoyte - Toure - Gallas - Traore

Eboue - Fabregas - Gilberto - Flamini

Walcott - Bendtner

Subs: Lehmann, Clichy, Song, Hleb, Adebayour

Liverpool line-up

Reina

Finnan - Carragher - Skrtel - Arbeloa

Pennant - Benayoun - Lucas - Plessis - Riise

Crouch

Subs: Itandje, Hyypia, Gerrard, Torres, Voronin.

Seems a very silly line-up from Rafa in my opinion. Does he honestly think they have 4th place wrapped up? If they lose today and Everton win, which looking at the Liverpool line-up is highly likely, it's only 2 points between them.

What the hell are we doing today?
We defeated Milan 2-0 at San Siro, but at home we're losing to a Liverpool team with Skrtel, Arbeloa, Plessis and Riise playing?

@ Locke

I think you agree Arsenal have weakened a bit... they're no longer the team that beat Milan in San Siro...

Voronin missed 2 big chances on the last 10 min. That's why he's their 4th foward.
