Ronaldo To Arsenal: We Will See Who Is The Best
Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Saturday's Premiership clash with Arsenal will establish which of the two teams is better.
Who Is The Best?
Arsenal have been the class of the Premiership so far this season, but Manchester United have also brought it all together after a slow start, and are playing some champagne football these days.
The two share the Premiership lead (though Arsenal have a game in hand) and come together on Saturday in what promises to be a classic.
"Arsenal are very strong and are playing fantastic, attractive football," said Ronaldo, speaking at the launch of Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 video game.
"They are one of the most difficult teams to play against this season and that will be a big fight, a big game for us and we will see who is the best team."
He also took a shot at Arsenal's strong start, suggesting that the title race was a marathon and not a sprint.
"It’s always difficult but it’s a good opportunity to see how good we are. Arsenal have started well but the season is a marathon — you need to be consistent," the Portuguese declared.
Grand Objectives
The winger also spoke about the team's potential.
"I believe we’ll win the Premier League and Champions League this season," he opined. "We have the team, we have the players and we believe we can do it. There’s a good chance we will.
“I’m at one of the best clubs in the world and I must think like that. If I was still playing for Sporting Lisbon I wouldn’t say that but I play for Manchester United and we always have the opportunities to win the big trophies every season.
"All the players feel good, feel sharp, feel quick and they are showing on the pitch their great desire to play for Manchester United."
Arsenal did the double over Manchester United last season, and have had the better of the Red Devils in recent years.

And that BS about the EPL being a sprint or a marathon ... United did the same last season (IMG:
