Sounds like Inzaghi in Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Well his wiki reads as if all he can do is score goals. Unfortunately football thanks to modern tactics has been relegated to a battle of strategy and strength. Very few teams really have that great blend of technical ability and sound strategy. Milan on their day have both. Arsenal mostly have the first, but not the second. Seeing Bolton under Big Sam was the reverse.

This footballing era sucks. Thank god for Pirlo and Kaka, otherwise I might even have to go watch (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ice-hockey. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

hehe if you guys understood hockey and watched it enough you would love it. hey kurt is british and he loves hockey. edit sorry he's E-N-G-L-I-S-H (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

btw calling it ice-hockey sounds retarded, thats like saying outdoor football (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Shame about Van Persie, he'll be out for over a month...international matches be damned!

Yeah that is a real shame ... Especially with United and Liverpool around the corner ..

Still, Dudu will do good IMO (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

C'mon u Gunners (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

Thanks Rossoneri7.
By the way, Wenger has extended his contract 'till 2011, and there's work going on to sculpt a bronze bust of him to be placed beside the bust of Chapman... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Yup I heard about that and Arsene deserves more tbh (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

He didn't extend that contract for no reason (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

p.s. what is the situation with Lehmann ?! I know Wenger wants to keep the same side for the sake of continuity, but do u think he will leave ?!

QUOTE
Lerner: O'Neill would succeed for England
Aston Villa chairman Randy Lerner believes Martin O'Neill would make a great England manager.

The former Celtic and Leicester City manager was in the reckoning for the England post last year and is likely to be tipped for the job again should Steve McClaren leave.

McClaren's position is under scrutiny with England in danger of failing to qualify for Euro 2008.

"I have no doubt that he could be a highly-successful national coach," said American billionaire Lerner.

"I think what Martin has undoubtedly is very difficult to define - passion to lead and passion to compete. He is able to express his ideas very effectively and in a way which is very compelling.

"Martin is integral to our plans for Villa. If he left, it would leave us needing to get to work pretty quickly I suppose - but it is something I have never speculated upon.

"It is not unthinkable but it is something you do not want to spend too much time on because it is not something you can prepare for. It would have to be dealt with if and when it happened."

O'Neill took charge at Villa Park in the summer of 2006 shortly before Lerner completed his takeover of the club.

Lerner is impressed with the way O'Neill is steering the team in the Barclays Premier League but he insists he would not block his path should England call.

He said: "I would not stand in his way. I don't know if I necessarily have any great insight on that subject. That would be between Martin and the FA."

He was in the running last time, so he'll sure be one of the favourites this time round.

Villa comes before England, I'd rather England keep McClaren than take MON from us!

He's a good manager ... And I hope Villa keep him, cuz it wont be easy finding someone as motivated has him to keep Villa on it's current course.

With that said, there are numerous well experienced winning coaches out there. Off of the top of my head: Lippi, Mourinho (though he is not the man for knock-outs), Capello, etc .. These are the coaches without a job and England NT is a very appealing job atm.

The FA will undoubtedly fire McClaren once his team is officially knocked out of the qualifying .. Which might be as soon as England are knocked out, if so then O'Neill would be tied with Villa till the summer (at least). So in that sense, I don't see O'Neill leaving Villa (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Wenger will keep on playing Almunia, I really can't see Lehmann coming back.
He has used his little 'injury break' in the worst way imaginable; saying how Almunia "never has won anything important" and so on.
The guy sees himself as a pillar of the entire club and I hope Wenger will ship him off in January and bring on Jarstein as third choice keeper, advance Fabianski to second choice and stick with Almunia until Fabianski is ready.

Well, dst would be happy right now. It's halftime at the Merseyside derby and Everton lead the Scousers 1-0 through a Sami Hyypia own goal.

1-1. Hibbert sent off, Kuyt scores the penalty (I didn't see it myself)

Kuyt just made the most ridiculous two footed high tackle and should have been sent off!

Benitez needs the sak if Liverpool want any chance of winning the league any team soon.

You're drawing 1-1 against 10 men, so you bring Gerrard off and put on Lucas, a kid with zero experience. Genius. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Last minute penalty, Phil Neville made an acrobatic save on the line in stoppage time. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Kuyt scores. Once again Liverpool cheat points out of opponents. Gunners for the title I hope. England don't need cheating shi!t like Liverpool or United representing our country

So it wasn't a penalty on Gerrard? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Liverpool won it. 3 points.

PS: Lucas Leiva >>> Momo Sissoko (good defending but can't pass)

Lucky fops, Kuyt should have been sent off and Everton should have got a penalty at the end.

In situations like this, why the heck don't they use video evidence?
Those three points can make a huge difference at the end of the season.
