P.S. Milanista 1899, since you're from Lincoln, what English team do you support (If any)?

The 1st team I ever supported was Arsenal in '92. Then Milan in '93, there was an over lap but chose Milan over them the next year. I don't really follow the Prem that much anymore. I've been a Lincoln City fan for about 10yrs (League 2) although don't have a season ticket, I enjoy going to the odd local derby. Not exactly a die hard supporter, just more a fan cos I was born here & lived here all my life.

To be honest it wasn't as bad as it sounds, both times (4yrs ago & this year) we lost to the better side clearly, and Cardiff was an awesome experience, just glad to be there (plus the beer at half time helped to take the edge off (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) Although it was a long road trip back (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Away to Fulham (Who finished 16th) Lost 1-0.
Home to Charlton (Who finished 19th) Drew 2-2 (Last minute penalty)

And they didn't rest all of their stars, half of their first team were playing. There's nothing to worry about!

No way, just think 0f this, 3pts and MAYBE (because Lazio can still pip us to third place even if we had won it today) get to 3rd in the table. OR going out to the final with players ALL with fresh legs and a good mental state.

umm i saw those game and liverpool dominated those games... especially against fulham and that was their B team. fulham had like 1 chance and got lucky and won.

Storari? He played for us two times and look how many we conceded. A goalkeeper's job is not to only save shots, but to organize the defense as well. Dida and Kalac do that well. Storari has no idea such thing exists.

There game is all about fast paced flank and hit and cross. They don't have any idea of what playing a conservative game means. Secondly he is 21, not many LB in the world are up to sergio or janku standards at 21. Udinese is not a sh!tty Italian team that we are insulting. Also It's his first serie A game so you shouldn't expect him to go in playing the same as everyone else. Confidence is a major thing, which will develop for him in time. Milan as a club have the tendency to buy experienced players and we go for the occasional young talent. Out of all the left backs in the world at his age, he got chosen. He isn't even Italian, so that means there is something in him that has caught the eye of galliani and co. Just wait till Paolo and billy teach him how to play in the defense properly, he'll become one of the best. I predict a great future for him. Bonera, everyone said was garbage at the beginning of the season, but as time went and he was shown how to defend properly by maldini and co., he has developed into a half decent defender. So my question is to you, why are you praising gourcuff so much and cutting alot of other players, when all gourcuff has done was pretty much come off the bench and just watch the game. You may argue he scored 2 goals, well the first was all kaka so if he had missed that would be sad. The second one was clearly boriello's goal which fell into his grasp. Just cause he can move like cronaldo doesn't prove anything. For a first game I'm glad that grimi had the confidence to preform like he did in the first half, and I'm looking forward to more than 1 appearance next year.

But I'm sure most people here agree with me that Gourcuff is a great great talent and he did very good when called upon, even though he is young and it's his first season. Do you even remember his first game? That's the way to prove your worth.

He and Oli are exactly why people should not go gaga over someone's debut performance. So many basically thought Storari was the greatest thing since sliced bread after his debut vs. Livorno. In his next two games, including today, he conceded six goals. Oli, no comment.

I'm trying to say that your already defining his ability from one game. That is wrong give him 2 seasons, if he doesn't cut then let him go. The word fantastic for me is what Kaka has been doing. I dont recall gourcuff coming on and all of a sudden the tides change. Of course he is a great talent, and at 20 he is doing well. I just dont think your giving grimi enough time.
