Lets not be too harsh on Storari, there was nothing much he could

Remember Dida was in poor form for a part of last season

I still have confidence in him
*

Storari is only better than Fiori .. Kalac should play ahead of Storari if he recovers in time. At least Kalac kept a clean sheet against Bayern in the Allenz, which gives me more confidence in him.

Storari was never a dependable GK .. He is clearly a second fiddle player

Please tell me you're joking. Kalac better than Storari? Oh please R7, don't lower yourself like this. I don't understand how can you blame him on today's goals. I watched them over and over and I'm still with the idea nobody could have done better than Storari did. Our problem is not the goalie, but the defense, so let's concentrate on that.

Then think about it this way ... Kalac has held a clean sheet against Bayern last season .. He also has had his share of bad and good games, but when it really matters he has put in a good performance ..

So STorari had a good debut .. Wooohooo ... But Messina havent had the best of times with him in goal too (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) So, that is why I'm not too confident with him being ahead of Kalac ..

But why are we talking ?! We'll see on Tuesday if he can really take the heat (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

in the end having a great 2nd or 3rd string GK doesnt matter that much. Dida has been a great GK for us but i think we should get a new GK, mainly cuz dida isnt getting younger and older players are often out injured like what is happening right now. SO if we can get a Gk that doesnt get that isnt always injured, the backup GKers wont have to play. It's true the defense is the main problem. I dint see the game but milan is a possesion team, so the defense isnt under constant pressure and shouldnt make so many mistakes but they are...

Well yeah, Kalac has had his on days (outstanding saves) and off days (childish blunders). That's why I don't trust him. What if he makes another blunder like the ones of Bresica or Lille against Celtic? At least Storari is more consistent and doesn't make those kind of errors.

X-Offender, it really doesn't matter if it's Kalac or Storari in goal .. I was just drawing a line between the two of them, and the fact that at least Kalac has had a couple of games with Milan and is familiar with the defence. Storari is a virgin in Milan's defence, if Siena could score 3 goals .. I wouldnt want to imagine how much Celtic on their own ground would.

But Kalac isnt an better, cuz he has had his howlers with us this season ... So in the end .. If it aint Dida in goal, then God help our defence.

I'm sure if the defense is in a good day, it won't really matter who's in the goal.

all 3 goals were 100% the defenses fault. some of the top goal keepers in the world would have trouble guarding a goal when a striker is wide open.

our defense was horrible...plain and simple horrible

this game also showed why we needed some like ronaldo on our team

I was just watching the match again on Milan channel and our last goal was an own goal. The corner Gourcuff put in was perfectly aimed at one of the Siena player's @ss.

From the angle I saw it from it looked very clear that Ambro never got anywhere near the ball, infact he was being fouled and pulled down to the ground, the player that was marking Kaka turned his back and the ball hit him on the @ss and it went in

Or the ball would have bounced too much and ended up on the roof of the net (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
