We're better... and (Silvio is) richer!!  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)   So what are you talking about??

@sansiro1708: I hope that if he comes then they will make history along with Ricky

Let's just hope that what Galliani said about Milan's affair with Brazilians was not just a bed-time fairy tale...  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

there is a difference
between having money, and willing to spend it.

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) nowadays chelsea and RM are more popular for young players... PS: I meant 1 billion euros...

yes but you said "we're not madrid or chelski" as if we don't have enough money... 20m is nothing for Berlusconi!!

Young footballers like those two because they are big-spenders and are full of big name players, not because of the beautiful football they're playing or anything... I mean, it's their policy to have such players... I doubt they'd want Gattuso!

I want PATO! (IMG:http://qsmile.com/qsimages/54.gif)
I can't get to see all the great and young players end up in Barcelona and Real and... it hurts! (IMG:http://qsmile.com/qsimages/65.gif)
They say he'll be the next Ronaldo (and Ronaldinho!). so what's the big deal?

How many times have you heard this about brazilian talents? He's the next Ronaldo, that's the next Rivaldo, the other one is the next Ronaldinho... Please, if he's good, then sign him. But cut the crap with the successors thingy.

PS: Don't take this personal, I'm talking in general. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

A slight possibility that Pato ever comes to Milan is only if he has european passport. Milan can only sign one non european player in the summer (in january noon, that is way we were waiting for Grimi - so he could work out his european papers), so if Pato hasn't got it, Milan will not loose a non european place for unproven 17 year old boy. That is the reality.

Inter Turn Down Milan Bid For Pato

17 year-old Internacional de Porto Alegre striker Alexandre Pato has apparently received his first European offer, although the Brazilian club have rejected the bid out of hand.

According to Italian sports daily ‘Corriere dello Sport’, AC Milan made a 10 million Euro bid that was turned down immediately by Internacional de Porto Alegre.

The Inter management have tagged the player at 20 million Euros and won’t budge until they get the figure they’re asking for.

Alexandre Pato is also attracting admiring glances from the Rossoneri’s Nerazzurri arch-rivals and Internacional may use their namesakes’ interest to raise the starting price even further.

The player is currently preparing for Brazil’s Under-20 South American tournament that sees Brazil face Argentina on Friday in Asunción, Paraguay, in the first of five final matches that will decide who the princes of South America are.

Pato broke through to the professional side after his contract buyout clause was hiked up from 2 million to 20 million Euros earlier this year, Inter fielding him foe the first time against Palmeiras where he scored and booked a place for the successful FIFA CWC Japan 2006 challenge against Ronaldinho’s Barça.
