QUOTE (kdman @ Dec 29 2006, 09:49 AM)
So this is Galliani's answer to our clamour for reinforcements (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)   Great. A virtual unknown, cheap (the overriding factor most likely) and untested. His only plus seem to be the EU passport. The Racing fans are having a laugh. I don't believe for a moment it is sour grapes. Your promising/best talent won't leave and everyone in the forum would sing good riddance. Whether he come good or not is a different thing. What is certain is that he is not whta we expect. That said, I wish him all the best here and hope turn out to be a great signing (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Were you happy when judas left? Do you snigger at how he's doing? Do you tell everyone you're glad judas left even though deep down you wish he'd stayed?

This is what happens when a team loses a star or promising player, I would rather give him a chance before judging on what some sour spanish fans think!

This guy here, who is a follower of the Argentinian League, says Grimi is a very bad player, nobody's ever considered him in his country as a promising youngster, the fans of Racing de Avellaneda have always disliked him and the average votes of his last 11 matches has been 4.5. It's a long article so I don't feel like translating it. All I wanna say is that after reading it, I just hope the board knows what they're doing. Well .. When ur after a youngster, you never know what you might get .. Arsenal got both Fabregas and Flamini .. Flamini was a flop, while Fabregas was a success ..

But when they first signed; Flamini was the one deemed for success not Cesc .. So you never know (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I think it fits well on my post 3 days ago:

QUOTE (Portugal @ Dec 28 2006, 08:00 PM)
I've checked that Racing forum and basically they are saying "Grimi to Milan for 2M? How can football be so generous?"

3 options:

-Braida's excuse for being in Brazil and Argentina lately.
-He is too young and proved nothing.
-He is simply b/s.

Anyway, for the LB place I'm not worried. Jankulovski is OK.

but, again, he won the best youngster award for the Apertura championship... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

This is all too confusing for me... But I don't care if any of this is true... If he sucks, there is no way Carletto will let him play. And he will probably get loaned out. If he is a success, then good for him and us! End of the story. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

And all he'll cost is 2million, even if he is that bad I'm sure a team will buy him - after all we managed to sell Bogarde, Collocini etc
