After the match against AEK we have Nesta, Serginho, Favalli, Cafu, Simic, Costacurta and Dida injured, and the only available defenders are Maldini, Bonera and Jankulovski. Good Lord!

I thought you were thinking about the good of the team and not being sentimental... Maldini still has a lot to offer... The impact him and Costcurta have on other players is definitely something special that only Milan has. I don't want them both to retire the same year... First of all it will make it twice as hard for us fans... And also the team still needs one of them until we make sure Nesta will take the torch after they are gone...
