QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jul 15 2008, 06:30 PM) Now that he is a Milan player (I know this was asked previously, but ..) do you guys think he will go to the Olympics ? I mean, will the club allow it ?
I don't think he is going, cuz Bonera and Kaka' didn't go If I remeber correctly I believe Bronzetti said he would be allowed to go. When I rediscover the link I will post it asap! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) EDIT: I can't seem to find it (mabye they removed the link) But if my memory serves correctly it was a Spanish site.

Welcome v2 of KA-PA-RO! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) I think the olympics will be good for him, its something he wants to be apart of and hopefully helps him get his passion back for the game. Plus he's been training on his own, so he should be in reasonable shape for the olympics. So do you rekon this will be the end of the transfer campaign for us?

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Jul 16 2008, 07:36 AM) One more Veloso would be orgasmic... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I'd even take Cigarini, but that really means a bloated squad. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Maybe next season, when we have(hopefully) more important matches to play. Btw..shouldn't this thread be closed. Maybe we should pin it, as a tribute... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Another midfielder especially a defensive midfielder is something that we really don't need we are over conjested in that area. A CB or a decent GK however is something that we still need.

QUOTE Txiki Explains Ronaldinho Exit
Just a few hours after news broke that AC Milan and Barcelona have reached an agreement over Ronaldinho, Barça’s director of football, Txiki Begiristain, has given his reasoning behind the superstar’s exit.
After officially coming to an agreement to sell Ronaldinho to Serie A giants AC Milan, Txiki explained in detail the activities that transpired on Tuesday and resulted in the Brazilian ace’s departure from the Camp Nou.
“The player will always decide where he wants to play. As a club, we can have 40 different offers but in the end, what counts is the player’s own desire,” he said.
The technical director also revealed one of the main deal-breakers that clinched the move: “This agreement was reached because Ronnie forfeited his right to 15% of the transfer fee.
“We are very satisfied with this deal because all three parties are happy. We are contented with the transfer and Ronnie will now also leave happy.”
The principle agreement of the transfer will see Barcelona pocket an initial €21 million plus €4 million in performance-related bonuses. If someone ever questioned his motivation I think this speaks for itself

^^ You stole my lines...way to go. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif) Well Veloso/Cigarini would be a replacement for Pirlo, so now we really have two good players for every position. Reason I'm not too keen on a centre back is coz I would really like to see one of the youngsters be given the run around. Coz when it comes to it, I think a world class centreback and goalkeeper are much harder to purchase than a world class attacker. Same thing with the goalkeeper. Though I think the goalkeeper situation can wait, till we have CL again. Our problem last season hasn't been a gap of 5-10 points from first place which can be put down to goalkeeping howlers. And Dida does deserves that second chance. I'll push the defensive purchases to next season, for when Paolo retires. Dida's 34 too, we might wait for him to leave as well. But the mid-field is on a tentative level now. We're only one injury layoff to Pirlo away from a tough season. I hope R20 can resolve it, but I doubt he can do it completely. So he's almost 99% getting number 20 right? Or will he try some wierd 10+1 number?? Since Gila is gone and our number 11 is vacant? I would guess Pato gets his favoured number 11 back?? Or is he truly the next Sheva with the number 7? Can't wait for the team roster and numbers to be put out.

Or is he truly the next Sheva with the number 7? Can't wait for the team roster and numbers to be put out. The goal scoring problem was part of the reason we were so far behind last season, but you can't not acknowledge that all the goal keeping errors (no matter if it was Dida or Kalac) had a big part in why we were far behind The defence was shaky at best Nesta can't keep making up for all of Kala's mistakes and covering his back all the time. Bonera would be a much better choice to start but that's another issue. Promoting a primavera that will play a decent ammount of games will probably never happen under Carlo. And at this point in time we need another great CB to play alongside Nesta not a sub type of player. Kala just does not cut it As for the numbers, that was an Inter player that played with I think it was a 9 + 1 or 8 +1 I don't rememeber because he couldn't get the number he wanted. But that's something that will only happen at Inter (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

It maybe real but there's also the other 97% chance that it isn't. Go to a reputable autograph shop for something like that.
