QUOTE (Tennie @ Jul 9 2008, 04:12 PM)
^^ Clearly they DIDN'T make it work last year at Barca. There were almost constant reports of tension/arguments between Rijkaard and players, among players, etc etc etc. I'd also argue that Chelsea's dressing room hasn't been particularly stable over the last couple of years, due in large part to Shevchenko's arrival and the feeling that he's the owner's pet and then due to the reportedly large number of players upset over Mourinho departing.

That said, Milan do have a history of very-little-to-no (public) drama in the dressing room. I can understand concern at upsetting the equilibrium in the dressing room if both Ronaldinho and Adebayor came in. Then again, it may be more Galliani doublespeak. That's actually true..I hardly see milan go thru all these drama..except for the seedorf incident of him being substituted for Pato which actually turned to be the winning goal against Fiorentina

Borriello Better Than Huntelaar - Galliani

Milan vice president Adriano Galliani believes Marco Borriello is better than Klass Jan Huntelaar.

Borriello struck 19 times in Serie A last term and it was this red hot form that prompted the Rossoneri to call him back from his spell at Genoa.

Milan have been looking for a top hit-man with Arsenal’s Emmanuel Adebayor and Chelsea’s Didier Drogba being touted as possible arrivals.

Huntelaar was also linked with a move to Italy but this doesn’t seem like it will be at Milan.

“We believe that Borriello is better than the Holland star,” Galliani told Antenna 3.

“Pavlyuchenko? He could arrive if Adebayor doesn’t come here. Sheva? Drogba? We’ll see.”

The Rossoneri have been huffing and puffing in the transfer market but they have not managed to bring down the house and sign a superstar.

Galliani himself did say that his club would not be spending mega-bucks in order to bring in the muscle.

Ronaldinho seems the likely target as Adebayor and Drogba will probably remain shackled at their clubs.

Hasn't he said this Boriello > Huntelaar thing before? He's getting old, not only does he talk crap, he repeats it over and over.

I feel he will. Hes really the only one of our prospects that have openly said that they want Milan, and now that Barca are not allowing him to play in the Olympics he will want to leave even more.

I want our squad to be like this next season..(at least a realistic squad)..However, people might want it to be different and so would i..but 4 the moment it should be like this

GOALKEEPERS-----Defenders----------MIDFIELDERS--------FORWARD

---Abiatt----------------Oddo ------------------Pirlo------------------Kaka
----Dida-------------- Zambrotta ---------------Gattuso--------------Pato
----Kalac -------------Bonera------------------Flamini---------------Inzaghi
------------------------ Nesta------------------Ambrosini------------Borriello
------------------------Kaladze-----------------Emerson------------Paloschi
------------------------Jankulovski-------------Abate----------------Ronaldinho
------------------------Favalli------------------Antonini-------------Pavlyuchenko
------------------------------------------------- Brocchi---------------------------
--------------------------------------------------Seedorf----------------------------

Now that's a competitive squad concerning wats at stake (Scudetto). If we could make some adjustment like DIDA=BORUC, BROCCHI=VELOSO..Add Mexes to our defense, Add Bargazli or someone else..Ma summer would be complete
