Fiorentina seems strong ... But once Serie A commences, nothing is certain.

inter are very strong ... Juve are Juve, but Milan is not one to be neglected by anyone.

Milan have made some important recruitment in terms of strengthening the front line and blustering the midfield.

The defense, there is still time .. and if someone was brought in, I think Milan will be one of the front runners

He missed a chance a forward should not miss. He didn't even finish it, he lost the ball.
The other chances were not that big.

I don't know what the problem is with Gilardino. He's a good lad off the pitch. But on the pitch he just embarasses himself.

Sometimes easier chances come more often, and the ridiculously difficult chances don't. He needs to simply finish when required... he can't.. and his faltering abilities continue...

ive noticed players in canada of similar attributes to gilardino. Good when they played under one coach but then moved to a different club and then damaged their entire style to the point that they could no longer reach what they were before. Its very common. We ruined gila simple as that. The style we forced on him just destroyed his confidence ruined his overall ability and now he is at the point where he is at the point that paloschi is. Learn how to become a finisher.

I think Gilardino did it to himself. He had the chance, and he even had a decent first season with us (respectable 17 goals). He could have built on that, as he did find out how to finish with Milan. But he was in over his head...

But to say we ruined him... I don't know... perhaps there was too much pressure... but he did score quite a few the first season with us.

I think Giancarlo is right.

Gilardino is a good player but he was in over his head - he couldn't deal with the pressure that came with the Milan jersey.

No one can deal with that pressure. When Sheva left everyone expected from Gila to take over and lead us to victory. And because he was the new guy (meaning the easy target) he was the one that was blamed for everything bad that happened to Milan. Whenever we would lose it was his fault while most of our players have been fairly mediocre in the past 2 seasons...

Jack, Jack. I thought you were the only member of the brotherhood. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Kurt was solo.
