Is it about time we started to think of a replacement for Dida?

I've noticed over this calendar year he is starting to show his age, his reactions aren't as quick at many times and a few mistakes are creeping in.

So is it time to look for a young back-up goalkeeper that would be able to take the Brazilians place? If so who do you recommend.

i disagree

dida is the man...honestly, i think the flare did something to his confidence infront of goal

if he did leave though, i would do everything i could to pick up petr cech from chelsea

I cannot believe people are questioning Dida? he can't save us singlehandedly every game as some seem to expect (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . He has got a dodgy back four in front of him-perhaps we should be changing that, actually we should change our manager first perhaps everyone's form will rise then.

Dida's recent form hasn't been great, but then I can't think of many other keepers I'd rather have in goal.

The one thing that really annoys me about Dida is that he never really puts himself out to save the ball. Has anyone else noticed that? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I'm pending the question, just because you have a difference of opinion does not mean you have to make silly little immature comments (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

So Dida, oh yeah he did brilliantly against Inter and he really puts himself on the line to save balls in the area (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Goalkeepers are like others, they have ups and downs. We should have more faith in him. Even if it did come to finding a substitute or backup for him, it is not easy to find a decent player to take his place (not to mention great ones). Right then for nearly three years Dida has been our keeper. In that time he has made numerous saves(inc penalty saves in the CL final, which helped us win it) and his form has been generally excellent. Recently his form has dipped(like some others) and you're thinking of who can replace him? good grief! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
Sandro Nesta is having a dip in form-shall we replace him as well? thought not.

I seriously cannot believe that you would trade Dida in for someone else. IMO Dida is one of the top three keepers in the world, along with Cech and buffon, to let him go for a dip in form would be suicide. Stick with him and his form will return, with rest and recuperation I'm sure Dida will regain his form (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Ok in this where does it say I think we should replace/trade him?

I was asking other people.

All I basically said was his form has dipped consideribly (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Dida's form has been dipping recently, that's a fact...but the way to instill confidence in him is not replacing him...at least, not yet. Milan has larger problems to solve during the transfer window; getting a replacement keeper is unnecessary and will only hamper Dida's confidence.

this is probably off-topic.

I read a news from a Chinese website that Abbiati is now almost Black and White, a brand-new zebra. When he was celebrating a victory with Juventus fans (last week), he was jumping and chanting in front of them and he invited all the fans to join him, what he said allegedly was: Jump with me! Celebrate with me! If you don't, you are a d@mn Rossoneri. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
