QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jun 23 2007, 06:58 PM)
And I don`t want to appear grotesque or morbid, but I think that if he had stayed at Milan he would never got the playing time he had at Juve but also would probably not fall of a biulding...

I can't but think of that fall every time I hear his name... I think he was... "falled" to be honest... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Other targets: Saviola(free transfer)

I doubt he'll be the next Seedorf/R10. He has talent, no doubt, but his naturel position is left back. Not something R10 and Seedorf excel at. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Yep. Drenthe CAN play left wing, too. I was just pointing out that he can't really be the next 'Dinho if his primary position is left back.

We won't get him though. He's been a target of Sunderland and Villa I believe, it was on our site that he'd signed a new contract until 2011 with Feyenoord. He must want to stay there for a while longer.

Interesting. Corriere dello Sport and Calciomercato have articles that hypothesizes about which striker Milan will go after. The usual names (Eto'o, Sheva, R10) are there, but the article also mentions Chelsea's Didier Drogba and Valencia's David Villa. The Villa talk includes sending Oliveira to Valencia as part of the trade. (Other articles quote the Spanish paper Marca saying Real Madrid wants Oliveira).

didn't Oli already play for Valencia once? Hmm.. I can't see Drogba or Villa leaving, they're so important to their respective clubs.

Drogba would do fine I suppose, for Villa I`m not that sure,...but of course, we have to make a wide list and not only focus on R10 and Eto`o.

And at the end, who was the mystery man? Suazo?

Yep he did, and scored some beautiful goals I remember...

Ok Drogba....why again. You've got a fit R99 who's 10 times the finisher Drogba is. And you've got Gila who can sub. Nope.

Huntelaar as I hear is also a poacher. There seem to be plenty of those around. Can we please buy what we actually NEED instead of what we'd like!! We need a creative forward, an SS. Not a primo punta.

@dst: Huntelaar wants to play one last season for Ajax before he leaves. He said so. Sneijder's the guy who wants to leave now.
